the only way i have been able to do it when it gets built up is with a hard scrub brush, then buff it out after.
so now i just leave it on. hehe

I've seen guys at the track with the blue masking style tape on the rear quarters.. that prob works well. I always thought it looked dumb, but I'm starting to think it's a better idea then scraping rubber!

It's a messy deal, but putting wd-40 in before the burnout will stop about 90% of what will stick to the car. Makes a mess out of the car, but it's easier to wash that off then it is to scrape off rubber.

removing rubber is fun, sucks when it smears a little then you need the wd-40 or mineral spirits. gotta make sure you use a cleaner or polish after though.

i need a garage...

Yup, last night I got most of the big stuff off... but alot of it smeared and then it was harder to take off... so I lost patience tonight I'm going to try the wd-40... what do you use for a cleaner/polish ?

if it's smeared and not thick gobs, skip the wd-40 and go straight to cleaner/polish.

i use a bunch of stuff but mainly the 3m professional line. you can go to any auto parts store and get a 3m cleaner wax if you dont wanna spend all afternoon using wd-40 then a polish then cleaner then a wax. it'll remove everything and shine the panel at the same time.

The rubber will come right off. Then wash, clay, rewash, wax and rewax at least once.
