Default Help me pick heads?

I'm gonna bite the bullet and order heads this week.
I would like to ask you guys your opinion on 2 heads.

AFR 205's VS DART 205's? I've done sooo much homework, and want opinions from you guys/gals

I'd love ET's but they are too rich for my blood. ( The AFR's are pushing it )

So what do you guys say, give the Darts a shot for like $1,300 or go with the proven AFR's? (Futral seems to have good luck w/ the Darts)

That plus the Dart route might let me get the Fast 90 setup too.

Thanks

It's tough with all these new heads on the market for cheap $ that are doing pretty good. I was always die hard AFR, but it looks like you can get similar #'s for heads under $1,500.

I've been racking my brain for months.

Yes,it sucks. I'm a fan of used stock LS6 heads with a milling of .030.They are very comparable in #'s.

The AFR's have proven themselves to be good and consistant.

1500 for good heads? you mean ls1 ported ones right?

i would go afr or edlbrock. not huge money, good flow, good power and the thick deck hight is nice.
some of the cnc heads are better power wise ect, but give afr's to someone that can port them, and wow!!!

This is a tough one

I think I might give those LS6 PRC heads a try (I like their CNC program) and throw on a FAST 90 setup, I can get all that for the price of a set of AFR's approx.

I'm not looking to be a dyno queen or run low 11's NA, Just want a fun street car and 11.5's NA

AFR's are the **** but tough to justify when it comes down to it.

Yeah but by the time your done w/ the AFR's you've spent like 3 G's, Of course they will perform, but you've broken the bank.

Look at this guy, out of the box Dart 205's, Pretty respectable #'s for heads that sell for $1,300

2 G's for the 215 runners, looks promising.
