Finally something good about NJ
I think it should be up to the establishment's owner. I know I'd be pissed if some douche nozzle politician tried telling me how to run my business. Making the casino exempt just shows how righteous this law really is
Also, yeah, people now are forced to smoke outside of the bar/restaraunt/etc which leads to more LITTER on PUBLIC sidewalks and :gasp: people are still going to be inhaling the smoke...but see these people are more innocent than those that CHOSE to go into that bar.

One has nothing to do with the other. Whipping out your junk is indecent exposure lol. They basically saying a legalized substance is not permitted in a privately owned establishment. I guess that doesn't alarm anyone. Like I said the idea is great but if I was a bar owner I'd be pissed. I can make decisions for my patrons on my own. Now if the government wanted take say a 5 block radius and offer owners incentives to make their establishment smoke free then great, it still leaves the decision up to the establishment owner.
Everyone has the choice not to go into a smokey bar.
that statement is 100% wrong, why dont you tell me what bar i could have gone to that was smoke free, hum none so im forced to smell someone elses **** and cant do a damn thing about it but breath it in and hope i dont get cancer. This law has nothing to do about the goverment and has everything to do with people that dont smoke and are tired of being force to breath their crap which is known to cause cancer. How would you feal if you were at a bar and i ran up to you and sprayed you with perfume. Bet you wouldnt like that too much.

You know what? It does have to do with health...and for THAT part I agree. But if they were THAT serious about the public health then why are the casinos allowed to keep their smoking practices? Also, I have news for you, you're STILL going to be walking through clouds of smoke to get into and out of the establishments so where is the health concerns there?
I like I said, if they offered incentives for owners to maybe make that choice on their own, great. What's next? McDonald's can only sell fat free garden burgers?
Also, don't get me wrong, I think smoking is a nasty, filthy habbit and I'd never do it but last I check it's perfectly legal product.

One thing I like about going to PA is that you can smoke inside, would I want that every time I went out for a bite to eat? No because I really dont smoke that much... so I'd just go to places that don't alow smoking, how is that a big deal?
