That sucks dude! I've got sick from it twice...both the same place. Best I ever had, was Tuna and wahoo and mahi I caught in the indain ocean. Philipino captain cut the **** up right there, mixed up some wasabi, and broke out the beers! AWESOME!

Sushi is uncooked, meaning it is susceptible to E.Coli and all that stuff if not properly stored.

I am never touching it!!!!!

Good sniff test btw.

I don't touch any sea food. I think sushi would be the last thing on the planet I would ever eat.

So what was the name of the place so everybody else can avoid it. But Sushi is nasty anyways.

Don't knock it until you've tried it! As long as its fresh...there is no better seafood!!!!! (Except ofcoarse a 1 1/2 lb boiled lobster!)

Name of the place is Mahzu (spelling?) in Aberdeen. I'm NEVER going there again. I love sushi but I've been shying away from it lately and after yesterday I might not have it again.

It could be the best fish in the world but if its prepared in a non sterile slab you will def. get sick. A guy I worked with was a trained sushi chef. He said if you don't see them constantly cleaning the work area don't even bother. Theres a lot of sushi going around with very high mercury levels too. I wouldn't bother eating that stuff.. if I want to eat and get sick I'll go to White Castle

Thumbs up

Mark believe it or not some of the best sushi I've ever had is a place right by Cartek called Fujiyama Mama (in Westfield, great Hibachi too)...even better is that they have half price sushi during lunch all week and at dinner on Mondays/Tuesdays as well.

Hey Marc, maybe we can go with the crew.
I've never gotten sick from sushi before. I've heard that if you drink alcohol it helps kill the bad bacteria. Don't know if it's true, but I like to drink
If it is true I bet Brad NEVER gets sick, hehe

I don't mind the kind the kind that are vegetables or cooked fish. Never tried the real stuff at a restaurant though.
