hey gang,
thanks to everyone that came out. we had a blast today. not a huge crowd, but pretty strong with 60+ racing. handed out soem cash and a whole lot of trophies.
the NJFBOA's next big deal is the east coast f-body nationals. we have more classes and are expecting an even larger crowd. it is august 20th at island dragway. check out www.NJFBOA.org to get all the details on times, costs, and classes.
thanks again for coming out gang. hope to see you all at more events real soon.

Early spring or late fall when it's cooler out and people watching or people waiting in the staging lanes won't get sun burn and the cars will run at there best instead of 2-4 tenths off there mark cause it's so hot out. I plan on going to Island's event but I know right now the car will be off pace because of the heat we will see in aug. I think it's great that you guy's are throwing these events but it would be that much better with out the extream heat

Still, it was a very good event (except for the bike oil down! ).

It was cool to see soo many F-bodies. The only thing that wasnt cool was the heads up class, there was no lader so u ran who ever pulled up next to u. It sucked had the 2nd fastest car in the class and i lost first round to a 3 gen race car that should of never been in the class. It should of been all ls1/Lt1 and tune port in the class, but i stll had a great time.

A Funny Car would of beat it..lol.. Serious there were some 14 second cars in that class and thought they were insane..
I heard the 3rd gen car talking smack and I laughed when I saw it run in that class..
It was a good day and I'm sure with some feedback and volunteers it could grow into a better event for next year.
