Default Blown Engine. Need a Place in Central PA for repairs

I have a major engine problem in my LS1. No compression in the #3 cylinder. Something broke not sure if it is a rod or what. I'm looking for a place near York County. I live below Red Lion in York. I'm not sure if any of the sponsors on this page are near by. I don't know if I should pull the engine and send it out to be repaired or tow the whole car to the shop. Any help I would appreciate.

You could try Rapid Motorsports near Reading, PA. It's a little bit of a drive, but you're getting someone who knows what they are doing. Do you ever hang out in York on Friday or Saturday nights? My friends and I do once in a while, I might even go out tonight with my brother and see if anything is going on.

Okay i will have to give Rapid a call. I will have to shop around alittle before I go anywhere. LtownZ28~ Let me know where you hang out. I will come out to chat and look at cars. Right now i'm in the beater car (97 ford escort) till mine is fixed. Let me know if your going to be around next weekend.

transfan0186 - Unfortunately the local law enforcement seems to be cracking down on hang outs in York because some people get out of hand. Now my friends and I stop at Sheetz, the one off Market St. and I think the Mt. Zion exit of 30, until we get kicked out then we just drive up and down Market St. I might be out again on Sat. the 17th, but I will be riding with my brother in his 87 Buick GN because I hope to get my hood repainted that weekend.
