What do you think my chances are getting out of this one. I said i was doing 75-80, he said he clocked me @86mph but when i got the ticket he didn't waste any time getting in his car and screwing. He checked off on the ticket estimated & LIDAR what ever that means . Its my first ticket so I have that going for me lol.
What does everybody think?

Yeah, don't listen to all the advice about "pleading this" or "going to court 3 times". In Mass you get a hearing (representative from the issuing department appears and you both tell your story), and when you lose, you can get an appeal, the due process costs an extra $20, and then the actual ticketing officer has to a appear, and an actual judge (as opposed to the magistrate previously) rules. You have literally no chance of winning either. Bring photos, prove the officer committed perjury on the stand 7 times, and then present Mother Theresa back from the dead to testify she was riding shotgun and you never cleared 60. You drive in Massachusetts, you lose. My only advice is if it's not too much of a pain in the *** to get back here, schedule a hearing and take the appeal anyway. There's like a 1 in 10 shot nobody shows up/they don't do the paperwork the first time, and maybe a 1 in 3 chance the real officer won't show up if you appeal. I make them work for it.
BTW- I assume it's State, but was it? Who's the officer?

I dunno... I got a ticket in mass years ago, and I just paid it.. CT never knew I got the ticket, and my insurance never did either... I think that if you just pay the fine they don't report it.
I had goten a letter sayign if I got another ticket, I had to go to driver retraining, and 3 weeks later, I got that ticket in mass... I paid teh fien, and never heard anything about it. I was going 65 in a 45, in the curves on I 91 right after you get out of springfield, laser trap, and the cops had about 20 cars on the side of the road.
NOt sure if they changed anything since then or not.

i fought a ticket in RI and they made me pay the fine, they said because im out of state it wouldn't show up on my connecticut record. they also told me that it would stay off unless i changed isurance companies within the next 3 years and that was a 68 in a 45

In RI, If it's your first ticket you can reqeust the ticket be thrown out and they will... providing you do not get another ticket within a year ... havent had to use this trick yet ... they state is too small to get a running start to even speed , plus the natural hazards - the road itself
