for some reason, i'm doubting there are enough LS7 conversion cars out there to generate any replies to this thread.

Are you kidding? I think you are the only one that wasted the $$ for an LS7 in a F-body

It should be compared to all the other stroker motor's out the like your own.

That '02 blk Z28 that your Dad had put together is a real nice piece, Justin...From the custom dry sump system to the custom firewall, it is one of the best constructed 4th gen F-body cars that I have seen. W/a 270 lb. large man driver, 10-oh's all day long yesterday at NED, on a warm day...and only the 2nd time out. Again, a very nice race car that appears bulletproof and will surely go rounds at the track. Wheels up for the first 100' out impressed alot of people up there, also. Best wishes w/it.... WJ

So let me get this straight, you already had an MTI 427 stroker, and swapped it for an LS7 427?

They campaign 2, '02 Camaro's, sir. Father and Son. 1, red auto 427 MTI 35th anniversary car, and 1, blk auto LS7 car that was just built. WJ

Actually that's the smartest way to go fast. Being that you pay 1/4 the price of the mods. Then you make it your own and go faster.

What's the reason to put an LS7 in an fbody, when you could make a nasty LS1/2 for a fraction the price. Is it just so people say "wow you have an LS7"?

Just seems like a flex of the wallet to me. Since it can be done better with an Ls1/2, for cheaper and it's not really that inovative.

I guess I'm just missing the point.

Original... I wasn't trying to be original... just intelligent. I had been talking to Eastside about building a car and Sonicsnake decided to sell his... So it was either spend 3-4 times the $$$ to make guys like you happy... Or save some cash and buy a well tested car....

Next time I'm tyring to be Original... I'll paint the car pink... or maybe even get myself a badass chevy tattoo... oh wait... thats been done before too
