Default Maine Tuners

Hello, just curious if anyone knows of anyone that does tuning in the state of Maine. Or perhaps NH or even northern MA. I'm located in the Bangor area. Thanks for your help.

when i lived in Bangor, i couldn't find anyone even remotely close that i would trust to tune. not sure what to tell you. you are living on the island of bangor. nothing but woods on all sides.

options are: -get a mail order tune
- buy some tuning software and do it yourself
- make an appointment at Dez or Eastside or other tuner in New England. there are a few but you have to look around. I'm sure you could even find one in southern maine but i'm not sure how good they are.

Hmm, that's what I was afraid of! Thank you for your help...Bangor is a nice place, but it's not a good place for high performance cars.

Bangor = Trucks w/lift kits and Sleds. You guys got snow season, mud season, 3 wks of summer, a fall sled grass drag season, then winter again...Lots of cars w/snow tires yr. round... WJ

I wish that were true...we never had more than 6" of snow on the ground here in Bangor all winter. I put 800 miles on my sled, and I had to go all the way to the Allagash region to do even that. Ah well, at least I have a summer hobby to fall back on.

whatever you do, stay away from performance auto and diesel in Brewer. They are basically an oil change garage with the word "performance" in their name. That's about it.
