Default New Best in the 1/4... Step in and tell me what you think.

Just thought I would post up for some constructive criticism...

60' ---- 1.901
330 ---- 5.253
1/8 ---- 7.983
MPH ---- 91.30
1000 ---- 10.320
1/4 ---- 12.265
MPH ---- 116.47

Can I get this pig in the 11's?

That would be my crummy SLP Y hanging down in my sig pic. I am thinking of true dual with a side exit, but I don't want to lose the CME.

Just need some real tires to bring the 60' down to 1.7's.

That is what I figured... Never seen NED be so sloppy as last night. No traction whatsoever.

Nitto Drags at 17psi. Launching around 2800-3400 (watching the tree not the tach). Slipped it the first pass and got the 1.90, second I tried a dump and just smoked the tires, third the tires spun after 4800 in 1st and then blew sideways in 2nd...

The first pass was the ONLY one I had traction on.

Yeah, Don... everyone liked my "Slowhawk Tuned" sticker under the hood. I think you tuned just about everyone's car there... lol. I met a nice gentleman with a silver '04 GTO with a Cartek cam for Raynham.

well if you want the best traction get a set of FULL slicks like MT Drags at like 10 psi, otherwise if your gonna stick to a drag radial then I wouldn't get anything other than the MT ET Radials....Do a nice burnout and let it rip at 6,000RPMS

Trying to get used to the gear change... but everyone was complaining last night about traction... so I'll wait for a day when the track is prepped before I try any 6k dumps

I planned on getting a set of slicks, I run the Nittos only because they last so long on the street - even the BF's I tried stuck better than the Nittos but only made it about 3K on the street.

Not too bad. FWIW, best I ever did with my car was a 12.21@114.1 with the old setup, that was with a 1.71 60 foot.. with your mph you are a good launch away from getting the car into the 11's. A good tire like everyone already stated will pretty much solve the problem, a set of qa1's would probably seal the deal.

What's the car weigh?

With Nitto's you should be able to hit 1.7 60's. Takes some practise but you can't just dump the clutch.Needs just the right slip to load up the rear.

Screw it just toss some et drags/et streets on and then you can dump the clutch at 6000... results will be good (or bad, if there's ay weak links anywhere LOL)
