Started my LS1 transplant

Yesterday I yanked the motor and tranny out of my 73 Z/28.

I've got my LS1 sitting in my garage and I've got some motor mounts for it so I'm going to start on the transplant soon, I need to hook up with my buddy to do some welding of the new motor mounts.

Looking forward to some LS1 power

I dropped the motor with my boy who's 14 so it was more of a teaching exercise / fun activity kinda thing, I thought about pictures but my wife was taking car of my 1 yr old daughter so no cameraperson was available.

I'll be taking lots of pics and install notes and keeping track of part numbers when I start the install.

Next on my list is to drop the gas tank and move the fuel over to the mighty Cav (which dyno'd 114 FWHP @ NEDT by the way

)

Thanks guys, we're going to do a test fit of the motor on Sunday.

Yes, I did dyno the mighty Cav to a thunderous 114 FWHP at New England Dyno and Tuning
