Default Vette/Viper results

Took Brent's car. With the awesome work of Brent and Mike pitting we had a smooth day.

Ended up running
1.62 60'
6.8 at 106mph in 1/8
10.45 at 139.70mph 1/4

Car is still on a very safe tune due to the tuning problems I had the day before. We ran it 5 times and ended making it to the Semi Final on the shootout. So,some more suspension/tire work should get us a 1.4 60' and that will touch 10.0.Then add the 6-8 degree's of timing--9's easilly for a DD car

I attached the dyno graph too comparing the N/A to final blower #'s. Hopefully soon I'll have the tuning finished

That's sick and the car's not even fully tuned yet-theres probably another 200 horse in there just waiting to be unleashed! Good job buddy! Is there any issues tuning with that intake?

Damn that is fast for a 6 speed. Can you tell us what you have done to the drivetrain to make it stronger?

We've broke everything once or twice in the last few years

right now it has a Z06 Tranny with a hardened output shaft,DTE stage 3 rear with 3.42's,DTE rear brace,SPEC dual disk clutch. Stock everything else.Running CCW?ET streets.

You have pretty much done everything to make the rear strong. Do you guys have a video of the run? That car is very strong....

Thanks for your help today Mike, I had fun. The amazing thing I thought was Don bracket racing with a 6 speed with a car he never, or almost never drives. Kudos to Don. The guy he was racing against probable has been racing the same set up for a long time. Maybe he will chime in in here. Kudos to him to. The vipers with 700 Ft Lbs tq. were out early and were running 11's. No vipers left in the semis.

Brents car is sick.

On the 10.4 run the damn thing was hazing the ET streets halfway down the track absolutely awesome.

I got a 10.7 run on video, i wish i had got the 10.4 though, crazy fast.

I'll try to post it up later.

It's nice to have a NA V8 F-body that is as fast as a twin turbo Viper
