Default roll cage padding question.....

how much of the roll cage needs to have padding. i couldnt find anything on ned's site. i thought i would only need the section going past your leg to the front of the car, do i have to do the crossbar hoop and two back sections too? and it said that i need a window net.... I could think of a better way to spend 40 bucks if i can avoid buying a net....

you need padding anywhere the driver could come in contact with the cage.

You do not need a window net with a six point roll bar.

I went over your house tuesday night, because that was the day my girlfriend decided to have a tupperware party at my place so I decided I was better off leaving. Wednesday I had to get some sleep before going to work.

last time i raced there they said have padding wherever your head could hit the cage basically....i bought 6, 3 ft pieces of roll cage padding...there were 2 sfi specs, i bought the 45.1 spec...i think its the spec required by sub 10 cars or rockets cause its harder than the foam pool toys which they will happily let you use....

I was up at NED last time with my 6 point totally unpadded. They told me to just pad around my head area. The rules state that anywhere where the driver comes in contact unless you use arm restraints, then some ares can be skipped.
