This is the car with stock with 700 miles on it

This is the car with 2000 miles on it with the tune filter and 180 stat Uncorrected actual dyno#

This is the car with 2000 miles on it with the tune filter and 180 stat SAE Corrected dyno#

This is a overlay of the 2 sae corrected runs before and after the mods

this is what the mods were worth

F1 Air filter ----10 hp
ported t-body -- 5 hp
180 thermo ----"none"
tune -----------20 hp
broken in motor --4 hp

im very happy with the car wonder if it is even worth it to do headers

You gotta do the headers now. Your car is making great power. Headers with a x-pipe and you will be well over the 500 mark and be in the 10's NA without waiting for the temps to drop

The headers would pick up the overall curve and that would make the car alot faster. Also if you go to the "internal engine" section there is a post about a guy porting the intake on the ls7 and picking up on average 18 to 22 hp.
Your a lucky guy because you own one of the best factory cars on the planet.

The Z has false knock issues also I believe. George was seeing a lot of KR up top, only getting about 19.5-21 degrees in the higher rpms...

Personally I am surprised at the great numbers, I have tuned a good handful of 2006 z06's and not seen this power even with headers on the car (Well around the same #s or a little better with headers). This is the first 07 we've had on the dyno.
