Calling Out The So Called Fast LSX Cars!!!! Here is the call out! I see all these cars in the eastern section with all these fast times. Well here is your chance to show it off on October 21st at the QTP EFI Race Series at Englishtown.
Fastest 8 LSX cars go heads up on a pro tree. Its the Quick Time 8. The only rule is you have to be muffled and thats it. Sorry but no cutouts.
I dont want to hear the excuses anymore. Slap a muffler on it and come out and have some fun. See how fast you are when it counts and racing against someone else.
So here is your 2 week notice. Gates open at 12.

My exhaust came apart in between runs and E-Town didn't say anything...so I think you can get away with a run or 2 with the cutout open...(plus they give you 1 warning)

I think the DB rule is 90 or 95db. Just put some quiet mufflers on there. Its an even playing fleid because everyone has to be on the quiet side. And Englishtown knows all the tricks and wont let you get away even once. This is a fun event and those are the rules. I kinda sucks not run an open cutout. Hey our cutouts are the bread and butter of our business. But this event was made to have fun. Its not like there is any ohter LSX Race Series going on right now.

My car has our headers our off road y pipe and slp dual dual. PJs car with a 402 off road with a mufflex 4". Both of us have cutouts we just run them closed. Both of us pass with out a problem.
JL you might pass because of the cats. Get ride of the loudmouth and pic up a dual dual. I love mine. Great sound when the cutouts are closed and i can pass the noise restrictions.

I've been looking for one of those, if they still made them I'd have already bought it, and put a 4 inch cutout at the end of the Y.
At this point, over the winter I have some plans to do to my car to get it where it should be on a few departments, having full true dual out the back is on the list, whatever I do it's gonna get a muffler/pair of mufflers on it to mellow it back some... before the po-po starts giving me a hard time.

That is hourse ****! That car was easily 15dB louder then my TA. They need to get their heads out of their asses and figure thit our. Even the employee I spoke to about it said it was a dumb *** rule and totaly silly.
Regardless fo exhaust it should be a simple volume rule.
