Default 10.40 slippin and sliding...

Met with Kerminator at the track today down at atco. Track was horrid, seemed to have OK prep but lots of moisture. Had a few problems in the morning that we later found out was an injector had popped off and the metal clip is no where to be found?!?! So we were running 11.0's on 7 cylinders...

Anyways, the car is leaving hard, about 4 feet airborne now with the new drag bar/tire setup. We have to get the car to stay down because the car was hooking and then around the 60' mark with the wheel still up the car was sliding to the right and getting out of the groove due to the track. Im sure pete will chime in with the updates but i think the slip was:

10.40 ET
128.62 (?) MPH
1.40 60' - rear wheels crossing the beem and they were spinning while doing so...

+1100 DA

Went a couple of 10.50's after that really spinning hard out of the hole. Then the drizzle came so we shut it down. Spoke with george sr over @ kooks about the exhaust setup for pete's car. We should have a killer exhaust combination thanks to kooks very soon.

Overall, I am very pleased with how the car did with the track conditions.

Correct me if I'm wrong- but if the *front* wheels would have broken the beam would it have been a lower 60'? How high is that beam??

Car went wheels up from the start, it actually hooked then spun while in the air. Its carrying the wheels pass the 60' mark. Yes if the wheels were down it would have been a better 60.. Well if the wheels were down everything would have been better, lol.

what's the car weigh? That thing's gotta be light to be doing that stuff.

What tq arm is on the car too? Changing that might get the nose to stay down a little better depending on what's on it.
