This run the tach was at 6100 in first and it nailed limiter =/ this was weird because it's set at 6800 RPM. Anyways, I came to realizethat in a cammed car the tach is 500 or so RPM slower. This was news to me. Anyways after that I made sure it hit second and finished the run top of third going through the traps

This was after a long burnout, and I realized I have to adjust the adjustable master again as I got the same problem with it not going into gear high in the RPM's. We'll do that before next night out.
Last run of the night I felt was the best. Things down track seemed to stick real well. Off the line though it was another problem.
Don't have the slip in front of me right now, but the stats were as follows off of my memory
2.3 60'
12.56
113 mph
With a 60' in the 1.8's like that one run and everything being equal, would you suspect that the car has a 11.9 in it with the 342's?????
I thought I got a much better feel for the car last night with the 6 speed, as my first time out I didn't really launch about 2800-3000
Funny thing is that it never slips on the street, or has that RPM problem on the street. As I was explained, the roasting of the tires heats the fluid up and causes shifting problems.
I was told also to try using Ford master cylinder fluid as its's 3x more heat resistant? Is this true?

Anyways, I think next time out I may try a bfg drag radial if I can find one, or something a little better than the Nitto. For a 315 drag radial, you would expect after a 15-20 second burnout on 20 psi to hook a little better. NOOOO It spun well past the 60'...
