Default Virginia Emissions!

Ok I'm pissed off. I've been fretting over getting my emissions done again since I did my full exhaust. I still have the hookups for the headers but I deleted the cats. But, I just installed two cats on the y-pipe to see if it would pass. Needless to say, I was failed. I failed the nitrous oxide test only.

15mph: 1192 NO (632 limit)
25mph: 1478 NO (614 limit)

What the hell else can I do? My car being OBDI, it only had one cat in the beginning.. now I have two. Any tricks I can do to get passed?

Do you still have AIR? I have no idea if that even came on the LT1's.

BTW, did you have Tyson do the exhaust?

Yep, got EGR and AIR hooked up.
I got Robert's Custom Exhaust to do it for me. He did a good job. Charged me $130. He even welded up an exhaust leak from the factory y-pipe weld.

I would love this as well, I live in Stafford, check my t-tops thread and pray for me as well. By the way I have seen you on the road and damn that car is smoking I ran into your boyfriend husband once at a gas station who informed me about the local meeting he sets up. I'd love to get back into that. Also I have a lift in the garage at my house I'd like to set up trans am weekend over at my place pool table meet new people put the LS1's up on the lift check for leaks anything else people would like to knock out quickly to get them all on. I'm like Al Bundy though married with children so getting out is hard at times. Let me know what you all think? Take care Mike F.

Failing the Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) level means you're running too lean, most likely due to a malfunctioning or non-existant EGR.

Mike...where did you see boyfriend Tim at? What car were you driving and how long ago was it? Thanks for the compliments on my car...where was it that you saw it?? The lift sounds cool and a nice offer. Tim has a garage but no lift.
