The car still has to be road-worthy, meaning it meets federal emissions standards, (newer cars) DOT tire requirements, noise (decibel) requirements, etc. Not many of us take the time to read the fine print of our ins. policies, but a car wrecked in any non-road worthy,reckless driving or "racing" scenarios, either street or track, will not be covered by the ins. company. So, the bottom line is: just don't get caught. (i.e. "take off your full slicks after you've slid into the guardrail while racing your buddy on the interstate BEFORE the ins. adjuster comes to look at the damage". I believe, in George's case w/his C6 Zo6, changing the primary car color will also mean re-registering, and maybe even re-titleing the car. At least in Massachusetts, I believe that is the case.

Think he was involved in a crash on his way home after a session at E-Town a couple of months back. I believe the car needed a new door pillar and considerably much more....poof....blue becomes white. George was running some great #'s w/that '07 monster.
