If your from NB then Dez is the place you want to go hands down. Tons of experience on our type of car. I wouldn't go anywhere else around the immediate area. I got 400 rwhp 381 tq on a decent set of heads and mild-avg cam, with catted y longtubes, and tune. I won 1st place last May in the spectator drags at seekonk speedway with my setup. If I drive lightly, my car is very quiet. Step on the throttle hard and time to wake up the neighbors.
If you ever plan on doing heads/cam or forced induction, do a little research but really go with what Slowhawk recommends. You could spend forever trying to figure out the best heads/cam combo for yourself, but he really knows and has seen results with different combinations. Also knows where the weak points are in the stock setup. I tried as hard as I could to learn about this stuff on my own and looking stuff up on message boards can sometimes lead you down the wrong path. I love my setup don't get me wrong, but I think I could have gotten a few more horses if I put all my faith in his recommendation, and saved myself some money on labor

+1 from me, the previous owner of my car had it dyno tuned there and I know when I got my car dynoed my car had PERFECT A/F and this car is an absolute beast and I have to contribute that to the excellent tune!

Built my 2000 Trans Am with an STS turbo and all the goodies....
Has Tuned, dynoed and will be assisting in upgrading certain components in the next few weeks on my Procharged GTO!
I wouldn't go elsewhere!

known Slowhawk for year before he started tuning with Dez. A upstanding guy he does great work period (and close to where you live) . With just cam and headers I gained 70 rwhp and 30+ rwtq. Car drives and sounds stock to boot

ive known Don for only about a year and hes by far one of the nicest and most professional guys ive seen work on peoples cars in a performace oriented shop. Dez is a very high class operation. Ive had many friends bring their cars there and now they will not even think about going anywhere else.

Hey Don... do you guys do anything for the new 2006 LS4 Monte SS's?? I see you are on DiabloSport's CMR Tuner's list as well... I got a Predator for xmas and have been playing around with it, but I'd like to find out about really getting this dialed in.
If you don't do anything with LS4's, do you know of another excellent/reputable place that does?

...but... do you only do the tunes with EFILive now, or do you still do them with the CMR/Diablo software, so that I could load it in my predator??
or is it possible to send you some of my predator logs and let me know what I should change myself ??
I currently log:
ltft
spark advance
engine speed
O2 sensor
relative throttle position
total knock spark retard
is there anything else in particular I should be looking at?
I know I can't do half as much with the handheld as you can with the full CMR suite, but all I'm looking for is to get it where it's safe and as good as it's gonna get with the handheld until I can get up there to pay you guys a visit!!
I don't want to just blindly go changing the injector slopes, PE, etc etc... i've got an idea on what I'm doing after reading around the net, mostly on here - I should go -10 on inj. slope since my ltft is +10, and I should go +5 to +10 on PE section, etc etc -- but I still wanna be safe when I do it, hence my asking for a li'l help here LOL.

Don @ Dez is the only person I ever would trust with my car.... He jsut did my new motor 2 months ago... and its smoother than the day i bought it.... Absolute best around... I don't think anyone could say anything bad about them.

The man, the myth, the legend, Don Kinder. Don is truly a great guy. When I wanted to build the fasted 4.8 liter he was the only one that would step up to the plate. And when the blower kit had a factory problem, Don spent hour after hour to fix it. ONce he found the problem he only charged me 1/2 of what he should have. I can really say that if it wasnt for Don Kinder I wouldnt have reached my goal of haveing the 1st 4.8 in the 12's, 11's and the 1'st and only to make 500+rwhp. I am greatful that I have had the change to have had Don work on my truck and that I have Don working on my current combo today.
