i'll be out there, hopefully at a decent hour depending on when i get out of work...i'm surprised the pacesetters gave you any trouble though, my drivers side was kind of a bitch, but it still went pretty smooth. and man, if your car with cats is faster than mine i will be pissed, might have to put in my built trans, we are probably close to the same weight...

well remeber man, im also a vert and not stalled, so im sure u have me in the weight department, although now looking at ur sig i see ur over 3600 pounds which seems weird to me, maybe well be close, but then again ur stalled so i think u will atleast eat me off the line!! As far as the cats vs. no cats thing ive noticed that thier really isent a noticable difference between the two. Brian took one of my new cats that was attached to a peice of the y and held up a flashlight to it before we put it on and u could see the light as clear as day through the top of the cat with him pointing the light through the bottom of it. They flow very very well! They seem to serve as mostly just sound bafflers!

i got a big stereo in the back, thats where all the weight comes from. but that is with me in the car and half a tank of gas, so the car is probably close to 3500 even if the tank is empty. stereo is atleast 100lbs. if you knew your 1/8th time it would be more clear, if you were under 8.5 before headers than you probably got me now, but judging by your 1/4 it was probably around 8.6-8.8. i should be closer to 12.5 if i had my 3rd gear, which i may just put my other trans in to fix that...

i persenally cant believe that u would want to do any more mods to ur car before fixing that tranny. Also, i think, this will probably be as far as i get as far as mods, for alittle while, since ive got a kid and things are tight. But eventually i think thier could be a stall in my cars future, i just dont want to ruin my tranny any sooner than it will do it by itself!! Also, ill line up against anybody at the track, i think im more intrested in just hitting the twelves and it would be more of a race against my previouse times. I do plane on heading up to MIR sometime in a couple of months to run my buddies 06 GTO, all he has is a catback. Think ill get a tune before i run him though, and maybe some sticky tires.

last time i ran an ls2 GTO we both got horrible 60fts, i destroyed him on the 1/8th, but he caught my *** with all those damn gears, trapped i think 107 or something, to my 90-something. times sucked, it was like 13.316 to 13.319, i cant hook for **** at capitol raceway. should be a close race considering a GTO will trap higher than you, but your launch should be better unless he is a beast at launching and shifting.

Well, my buddies GTO is also an auto, so its really gonna be close to say the least. He also is abit older than me and has been a GTO guy since they were new, i mean the original goats!! he has also been running them at the track for the same amount of time, so he definatly has he driver mod, although i dont know if he will get to test out his car at the track before we run'em, so it will be a good one!

oh, he also has an auto. well i cant **** on all the GTOs but the gearing would definitely help them since they are so heavy. an auto GTO is pretty sluggish, i've test driven all of them, 5.7, 6.0, A4, M6. and they dont feel as fast as an f-body. they also turn funky ETs for having 400hp. it will be close but if i had to take a guess i'd say you have him no matter what, even if it is by an inch.

6.0 GTOs are easily low 13s, possibly high 12s. i've seen 2002 A4 z28s run 12.8s bone stock consistently however, so its really hard to say.

was that cam ONLY... no other bolt-ons??? cause thats pretty low..... A4???

350-360rwhp is obtainable with bolt-ons.........with a M6.....and tuning....
I really wouldnt worry about the HP now.... id look at the big picture and but things that can go on now that will work later.... so not to spend $$ twice on the same thing...

yeah thats why i been kinda taking my time getting things planned out. i'm not looking for alot of hp NA, i just dont want to not get decent gains.

i dont know which mods that car the shop was talking about had but i'm pretty sure it was a stalled auto...
