it's kinda fucked up. seems like a vacuum leak. the boost/vac gauge reads -10 at idle. stumbles when i touch the gas. stalled once. part throttle feels like i'm driving my ford ranger, but not quite as peppy. 3/4 throttle(10lbs boost) has some power. i seriously want someone in the know to come drive it. Since don's not around, i don't know who to turn to.

no codes on the pcm. i'm puzzled. it definately had more nut when i picked it up. i don't know how else to describe how it feels. it makes alot of noise but thats about it. ya know?

and please for the love of god, nobody take my comments in any sort of negative fashion toward dez or don. he had his hands full with this ******* thing. he warned me already that he didn't put as many miles on it as he would have liked before he left for vacation. i probably should have just left it with him a little longer. I'm grateful for his help.

Dan no one thinks your bashing don, dont worry about that. I think you should not be driving it until you hear from him, sounds like an air leak or a clamp came off.

also clear your pm's, im sending you something

I agree with Mike, stop driving the truck, till you hear from Don. You could be hurting something.

Actually today is perfect!! Take the truck out, do 70-80mph, and it shouldn't be too hard to find a patch of Black Ice somewhere....

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues. Let it sit till you get some answers. Cause when I rode in it, the thing drove mint!!

agreed. it drove awsome saturday a/f was perfect, check the intercooler pipes to make sure you didnt blow one off but if you find nothing leave it alone till someone looks at it before you really do damage to it . if you do drive it, stay away from all small ponds on the roads

DAn did you do anything yourself? Like tune it? Hook the eboost back up? I thought don gave it back to you with 6 psi for now and no eboost? I would be chacking for leaks for now. But if your driving it, dont be boosting it.

once wifey leaves for work i'm gonna pull it into the garage and start looking around. Yes, i hooked the eboost thing back up. I've put maybe 30mi on it since then. Yes it builds boost. It's odd, sometimes all i can hear is the fuel pump running(very annoying) and other times I can't hear it at all.

Clearly something happened. Now i've got to find it. I didn't tune anything cause my laptop is seemingly fried and I don't have EFIlive yet. Had to sell my HPtuners cause it was worthless to me seeing as how the truck is tuned with efilive.

The truck will sit until the beginning of the week at least because we are getting slammed with snow today and tomorrow, then I work sun, mon, tues, wed 8am-8pm.

do you have a fuel pressure gauge or an a/f? What do the guages do when you cant hear it? Eboost could be causing issues right now. Also the pump could have gotten fucked in the water you went through, check that stuff as well just to be sure. How much snow you getting? If its equal to the rain here your getting killed

take the e-boost off right away. put a couple of miles on the truck and see whats happening. get the truck as close to the condition it was when it left don's. you dont know if your dealing with something you did, if it's an issue the water created or if it's an ongoing issue. you cant just keep adding more and more to your setup without fixing the root of the problem first, you'll never ever ever find out what it is.

eboost can do so much it would surprise me if it messed with the fuel system. eboost isnt something you just slap on and worry about tweaking later. you need to get that **** installed and properly tuned before you drive around, even more so with a setup to the extent of yours. think of it, you have no ses lights, no warnings, you cant see anything wrong but it's acting weird..........and you have an eboost setup installed that isnt tweaked at all. i remember someone who did the same and the car would act wicked funny.

good point. i'll unhook the eboost again and see what happens. fuel pressure is fine. 58lbs at cruise speeds. a/f gauge is seemingly calibrated wrong and I don't have the disc that came with it, so..........

i called dynotune yesterday and they said it is definately calibrated wrong if it's reading 23:1, lol

I just spoke to Don, he says there's nothing wrong with the tune. He think's you blew an air line off, since the eboost most likely over boosted it!! The wiring is still fucked up on the eboost!

Oh yeah, he's having fun watching Dumbo's Air Ride.

hmm, i didn't see any lines off but i have no ******* idea what to look for. Anyway, is it safe to assume the fuel pump should NOT be running by itself? Ya know, when the truck is parked in the garage, key in my pocket.

WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON WITH THIS PIECE OF ****?????

AND, i can't remember how he had the eboost thing bypassed before. there's like 874 different hoses under there, lol.

Ok, Don says fuel pump voltage regulator is shot. Disconnect the battery before it dies. I feel bad calling him on his vacation, trying to get you back up and running. But I've come to the conclusion, that won't happen.

You're on your own with how the eboost gets bypassed. It might have shorted out the regulator when you hooked it up.

LEAVE THE TRUCK ALONE!!!

ok, aeromotive told me to send them the relay. he's totally baffled as to why the pump turns on and won't shut off when the battery is hooked up. He did say that the controller should definately not be mounted under the truck. oops. so, now i have to figure out how to unhook the thing and direct wire the pump. OR push the truck back out into the driveway and hope to god an asteroid falls on it.

But in all seriousness, can anyone come help me out today or tomorrow? I'm fucked. I can't troubleshoot it myself. I need to remove the fuel pump controller and hook the fuel pump back up without it. If the problem is simply that the controller is fried, who cares. I think i can just hook the red power wire up to the fuel pump and pull the controller out of there. The truck is in my heated garage. I can't pay for MORE labor on thei ******* thing. I down right refuse. I'd rather trade it in for a new truck. I think $14K in labor is quite enough for this build.

Man you need to call you insurance agent and get it insured for all your mods or pull everything, put it back to stock, sell the mods, and light the truck on fire and collect insurance for it and buy an srt-10 ram and mod the hell out of that. I feel for you though as I would have given up a long time ago or taken my sig and put multiple clips into it.
