Just trying to get an idea of how many of us there are. (As inspired from my last post in this section). Found two others, let's see how many more we can round up. Please post up your location too, I'm in Milo.

Well, you already know about me, but I will jump in. I am from Lisbon Falls, in the Lewiston / Auburn area. Always looking for other f-bodys to hang around with, any nice old or modern day muscle cars really.

I can only imaging what those jokes must be

The only mass. radio show I get to listen to up here is Howie Carr as one of our AM stations is a wrko affiliate. I have never heard any of these zingers from him, but I would be interested to hear some. It is pretty much hickville up here depending on where you go... But we have a good sense of humor about it !!!

Bob Marley the comedian from Maine is ******* funny as hell. He has one bit about being a teen, drinking in the woods with big red solo cups. It is the funniest thing ever.

Hell yeah, wherever the keg stops rolling you start drinking! S-O-L-O ******* SOLO. I love the part about when your friends drop you off at 3 a.m. and do donuts in the front yard while laying on the horn and peeling out down the street. I have seen him live a few times and some of his expressions make the jokes 1000x funnier.

I would love to see him live. I have it set on my Sirius so that when he comes on one of the comedy stations it alerts me.

Radio station 105.7 in Boston has this "Loren and Wally Show" in the mornings. They play alot of the "men from Maine" stories. Funny as hell....Maine's a great state. Used to race sleds on the oval track at Skowhegan State Fairgrounds yrs. ago, and we also ran a few yrs. in southern Me. at Scarborough Downs track in Portland. They'd lay 8"+ of ice down on those horse tracks and the racing would be awesome. Factory teams would show up there for some big time speed and great competition. Yrs. ago, Sanford had a NHRA 1/4 mi. dragstrip where we ran. Long closed, you guys now just have the 1/8 mi. track at Oxford Plains, if I'm not mistaken. Best wishes to you guys up there. WJ

Yeah, the sanford track was an old airport that they converted into a drag strip. It does kind of suck to only have an 1/8th mile track up here now. I must say though that the guys that run Oxford Plains do a great job for a small track. With them closing down BNAS up here in Brunswick, I wish they could assign some of the land that has tarmac for a dragstrip, that would absolutely kick ***. Unfortunately Brunswick is too much of a Prius driving, organic food eating, yuppie town to have anything relating to motorsports or loud noises in it. You should see some of the looks I get when I drive to work at the Brunswick School Department in my formula, it's hilarious.

lol! I can't remember exactly how the joke went but this was one of my favorites

Man 1: "Hey there! I see you got a sack of turkeys. If I guess how many turkeys you have in that sack, will you give me one?"
Man 2: "If you guess how many turkeys I have in this sack, I'll give you BOTH of the turkeys. How many are in the sack?"
Man 1: "Five!"

I have 2 of the Bob Marley shows on my computer, funny as hell! So far I am the furthest north of all of you. I ran at Winterport drag in 05. Not a bad track, but yet again another airport dragway..... And of course its only an 1/8 mile. Whenever I go through Mass I always remember to tune in WAAF! This thread turned out to be more of a success than I expected thanks for the help guys! Unfortunately, even though this is a Maine thread we are still outnumbered by Mass! Damn theres gotta be more than 3 of us on this site.... Keep it coming, even if you are from Mass.
