tony lukes is the best ive had so far, pats and genos aren't that great at all. Steves prince of steaks is decent, however i wish they put american cheese slices on it instead of it cheese wiz style american cheese with a ladel.

lol..great how a "cruise" thread turns into a "who has the best steak" debate..lol. u guys are ruining philly's thread.

in any case, i work saturdays so i wont make this...you guys have a good time though.

FYI...stay away from south philly for the races. its a ricer convention and cops show no mercy anymore.

speaking of cheese... do other places besides Pat's use cheese whiz? they dont do that at all in boston area. the only way i can get the 'whiz effect' in TX is at a place called Texadelphia and order queso for the nachos and dump it on my cheesesteak

all the good steak place shave wiz and american, the high end places will have provolone too usually.
steaks in boston = garbage BTW.
i have been all over teh country, and i can tell you from experience, the only place you can get a good cheese steak is in and around philly. the bread is better, the grease is better, and the service is better.

I love Boston style! I know its not traditional, but its what I grew up on and would take it over a real cheese steak any day!

So are you guys still going to Jim's or not?

I'd like to see some of these rides you guys have.

I can just imagine sitting on a bench at a parking lot and then see 8+ F-bodies and whatnot roll up. Sounds really awesome.

WE aregoing to Jim's because of THE PARKING. There will be all types of cars there. It should be alot of fun.
The cheese steak debate can go on forever. There is a decent place in NE Philly called Steve's.
But the parking at the roosevelt mall can't be beat.

If I show up I just hope I don't get jumped because I own a mustang but I wouldn't be there if I didn't like F-bodies right lol.

mapquest directions didnt work.. are you guys gonna be on 76 at all? Or are you gonna take 95 up to Philly and get off somewhere in the penns landing/ south street area. And if I recall.. jims doesnt really have parking.. its just south street. And its going to be so nice everyone will be down there today.. so where are you guys parking?

they are going to the Jim's in Northeast Philly...its located in the Roosevelt Mall and there's plenty of parking.

if your coming off the turnpike, you'll wanna get off at the Route 1 exit which is the Roosevelt blvd....take route 1 south after the toll and just keep driving for about 5-6 miles....the mall will be on your right hand side at Cottman and the roosevelt blvd. drive around to the side of the mall on Bustleton ave, thats where they will be.
