Sooooo from what i've heard, Pinks is going to be at NED October 7th, 2007.

I'm not sure if its the All Out format or a traditional pinks format..

Hopefully, it will be the all-out format. They'd pull over 300 qualifying cars easily at NED for their 16 car field. WJ

Is that the one where you get $1K for winning the first race then bet with that for the rest of the races? That would be cool.

Last all-out show I saw featured low 10 sec. cars and trucks. They went thru a 345 car/truck field to come up with 16 and decided the low 10's was the most competetive/closest bracket for that show. I thought it was a awesome show. Anything slower than mid-11 second 1/4 mi. racing looks pretty boring on tv. (no insults meant to anyone--just my opinion.) WJ

I'd actually like to see some better cars on that show. What I mean is camaro vs. mustang. Evo vs. STi. Vette vs. Vipers. You know the real grudge matches. I'm actually getting sick of the 10s old school novas and caprice wagons. Hell I want to see more shows like those two brothers SS vs TA. I'd like to see Mike Dez take on a local shop.

 

i would to see more street cars. you know the guy that drove to the race not pulled by a truck.

 

Last all-out show had a LSx C5 Vette and a turbo Grand National that both went to the semi-finals, if I'm not mistaken. There was a mixture of pretty much everything in that field of 16....Hopefully, they WILL do a Pinks show from New England Dragway. A Dez Racing vs. Eastside Performance matchup would be simply "the *****" for some site bragging rights...most everyone here would love it! WJ

Yeah I missed the LSx match up. I still want the grudge matches though as stated above.

 

Dez's Stang is a mid-low 7 sec car. Don't think Eastside has anything that fast, not sure.

 

No, Dave....I meant match up comparable cars/trucks tuned/worked-on at Dez to same from Eastside. A ton of cars from both shops could fall into that category....no? WJ

 

I know 2 cars (1Eastside, 1 Slowhawk) with comparable set ups that would be a good match up. Both LS2 402's.

 

Would like to see Purevil there cause if it comes to NED i will be there

 

If it's the all out format, I'll be there racing, if not I will be there watching.
