From this..
To This..
Ford Taurus cut in front of me, I swerved, fishtailed, and then lost control. Probably couldn't have been more lucky. I walked away with minor scrapes and bruises, bent my steering wheel pretty good. Im pretty shooken up.

The other car stopped, but they had fleed the scene at first. Another guy stopped and told the police what happened, apparently the person who cut in front of me and the guy who stopped had conflicting stories. I think the guy who cut me off needs to learn depth perception, and Ill never run a car without a front sway bar on the street again. Even though I was "only" going 50mph, with that swaybar I think I "may" have been able to keep the car.
I fishtailed twice, corrected twice, went back into the brakes, and the car slid clockwise, past 90*, and then into the pole. 10" either way I would have had more serious issues. Right now I only have a sore neck.

I have TCS and ASR. I will most likely be parting out the car. Chef has first dibs on drivetrain. The rear end is pretty shot, probably the suspension components as well. Body parts, interior, cam, springs, driveshaft, idk.. anything else. I will start a new thread when the adjuster lets me know what the buyout is. I may nto even try to get the insurance to write me a check for the car, just try to part it and cut my losses.

Glad you're ok. But I'm reading way too many posts about people totalling their cars. There are lots of bad drivers out there and you have to drive defensively and be prepared for a stupid move by the other guy. So are you going to get another F-body after this one?
