y-pipe ????
I currently am running the qtp header/y-pipe im wondering if it would be better to just get a y-pipe custom made to fit it?? Currently mine right now is banging around and just over all poor fitment. What I want to do is possibly get a y-pipe made to fit 2 elec cutouts maybe 1 not sure yet, two cats and a magnaflow cat back frankly im a little sick of getting pulled over for loud exh, ill do good for a few months then bang i get pulled over 2-3 times in a month i mean come on its not really that loud. i was goin to use this money to buy a 90/90 set-up but i think doin this will make more sense right now. Plus i cant stand that banging around anymore and i hope this will fix it for the most part. what you think anyother suggestions???? Oh yeah and which cutout too go with and cats i was thinking magnaflow cats.

Probably just needs a tug or two when it's nice and hot and it won't bang anymore.
Let the car run a bit then wedge a prybar in there and nudge the exhaust away from the floor, it works. From what I've heard the QTP stuff fits quite well.

If the banging is bothering you too much before you have the Y-Pipe done, In the past people have taken a hose clamp roughly 3-3.5" and cut a thick heater house and stuffed the heater hose in between the Y-pipe and the floor of the car. Also put a heat wrap in between the hose and the y-pipe so the rubber doesnt melt. Put the clamp through it and tighten it to the Y-pipe. Keeps the Y-pipe stiff.
Although I'm not sure if thats where your banging cause Don said its against the Loop. I did the heater hose trick, only issue was I had to randomly tighten the clamp at times.

I had 2 QTP Electric cutouts and loved them. Only issue is getting them to seal when you close them, sometimes you gotta flick the switch to shut them completely. I never put RTV sealant around the rim, that might of helped with the seal

I'm going to say to probly but a Kooks y-pipe,cut the headers back a bit and do alittle welding. The dual cutout's are nice but they are a bitch to fit without hitting the floor or ground and this car won't really gain anything but noise.
So I say a Kook catted Y-pipe,1- QTP 3" cutout and a Magnaflow catback. Some welding and swearing should get it on there
