Well, lets just say this guys, i definatly want to go on a night that is strictly test and tune, the driver mod was my biggest hump last night since its been over a year and a half since i ran. times are as follows( I ran chauncey 3 out of 4 times, first time we went to line up, thier was an oil spill in the right lane so we had to just us the left):

1st pass:
R/T.....603
60'......2.046
330.....5.660
1/8.....8.565
mph....85.44
1000...11.071
1/4.....13.207
mph....105.50

Chauncey's first pass was like a 14.5 or somthin, he shut down at the 1/8th cause he didnt know were the shutdown started and the track ended.

2nd pass (Im always left and chauncey is right):
R/T.....360........345
60'......2.120.....2.272
330.....5.783.....5.998
1/8.....8.710.....9.030
mph....84.87.....82.04
1000...11.228...11.605
1/4.....13.366...13.731
mph....105.43...106.94

3rd pass:
R/T....053........254
60'.....2.040.....2.069
330....5.685.....5.689
1/8....8.601.....8.757
mph...85.14.....82.38
1000..11.112...11.329
1/4....13.247...13.454
mph...105.55...107.10

Last pass(and worst ever for me, got anxious as hell cause we had to wait and red lighted hard as **** but this was chauncey's best pass w/ shifter problems all night.)
R/T...-234......117
60'....2.617....2.095
330...6.275....5.745
1/8...9.18......8.718
mph..85.45....83.33
1000.11.683..11.266
1/4...13.805..13.367
mph..106.25..108.01

All in all, i had alot of fun, but thier just wasent enough time to get in to a grove and figure out the tires and the launch, the car has 12s in it, i think maybe kyle should drive it down the 1320 once to prove its the driver mod and not the car.

I think we had more fun on the drive thier than at the track though, and chauncey had a hard time believing my car didnt have gears, cause my car pulled so hard in third.

did u guys race on the way there? did you pull on chauncey? he should definetly have 12's in that car, with a heads and cam setup. he needs to get that shifter fixed too. dont worry, youll get 12's out that car once you get back into the groove. maybe next month when me n mike have our cars back we can go again.

darren whats the weight on your car? and what tires were you running? also what was the weather like? looks like the main thing keeping you out of the 12s is your 60ft, a stall and tires would fix that lol...

check this out here's mine:
(different tracks, different days so it might not mean much)

60'......1.764 -.282 off your time
330.....5.288 -.372
1/8.....8.239 -.326
mph....83.140
1000...10.809 -.262
1/4.....12.993 -.214
mph....103.20

just for comparison. if you take away my ~3/10ths headstart because of the stall, our cars are running pretty much identical negating the variations due to my transmission. you see in the 1/8th i gain a little because my 1-2 shift is really vicious, but after that you start catching up. maybe in real good weather you'll hit 12s, but i know without a new trans (or possibly tuning i just discovered) i'm not gonna go much faster than 12.85-88 on the tires i have. i feel you should be cutting more like a 1.9-high 1.8 60ft, but its all different due to weather and weight i guess.

he was running new Mickey Thompsons ET's. i think he said it was at 22psi, which should be enough for the little mods he has. convertor would only let him go up to 1300rpm if i can remember what he said.

He probably would have been better off flashing the 'verter. Once he gets it tuned and gets the shifts firmed up he should be in there. Even so it still pretty good for a auto 'vert.

ok guys, i was running MT ET street radials, same one kyle runs around on, except they were on my stock wheels 255/50/16, i set the tire pressure at 22 psi, but when i would go through the water box i would have extremely bad wheel hop and not be able to do a good burnout, but i was still hooking really well off the line. i cant remeber exactly, but my car is around 3600 pounds, i need to weigh it again though. the first pass, the tree came fast, cause i wasent ready, so i only got to foot brake it to maybe 1000 rpms when the light droped. second pass, i foot broked it too much and i un-staged the car so when i tried to re-stage the hammer dropped and caught me off gaurd, 3rd and 4th pass i stalled it too about 1250 rpms and launched, but the last pass i red-lighted.

Sean, when are u and mike going back to the track? I really want to go again when im with people that know what to do. I was the most experienced one out of the 4 of us, pretty scarey huh!! Oh, and yes, me and chauncey raced ALOT on the way to the track and on the way back, he said my car pulls retarded hard for its mods and he thinks my numbers are off from the dyno cause he puts down 360 and i put down 303, and he definatly wasent leaving hard, when he was able to pull me.

it was cool though, that i smacked around a H/C SS all night, even if it was just a Z06 cam and 243 heads. He said he would never go back on street tires cause i was murdering him on the launch.
