When i return from Iraq, im doin a stall and H/C and ill probably get a street tune from chauncey or another guy i know.

You know dude if you dont like the price thats fine, dont be a dick about it.
If you knew how much time Brian puts into a tune and everything he does, plus the $40,000 in equipment it takes to do CORRECTLY you would see things a little differently.

WOW!!! Seems like a few in this thread should take a Midol for their PMS. Guess Aunt Flow is going to visit next week.
Is dyno time included in the $450 along with driveablitiy tuning? If so that is not a bad price if the tuner knows what he is doing and takes his time. If dyno time is extra then it's a not a good deal.

That is not a lot of oil considering I bet your right foot has been busy lately. It's a safe bet you will use that much at a track rental.

I agree.... $450 is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Cheap its not even funny.... esp when you cant even buy tuning software for that much.....

Spending $500+ on these cars is easy..... almost any mod that is worth a **** is more then that.....
If ya have a hard time stomaching that..... then maybe you should move onto a new Hobby.......

Thats just the way i feel and im just letting my fingers fly after reading all this...........
Ive never said i KNOW everything..... but ive done quite a damn bit and have had just about every combo out there....

Tuning is BY FAR the #1 spot where $$ needs to be spent...
It can make or break you and if done wrong... BLOW **** UP!!!!!

Now i can see with only bolt-ons like yours where tuning shouldnt be needed.... even for exhaust including LT's....
Now a cam and heads or spray...... for sure.
Ill be talking with Shawn and Brian about maybe a base for cars that dont need full on street driving tuning and lil mods..... ie gears, and other lil things....

Kyle

I assume your speaking of LS1 edit correct? and if you are, how hard is it to hook up your computer to a car and do this with your laptop after you "acquire" this program?

$450 includes dyno time and driveability tuning. thats exactly what i was saying in my other post about how long brian spent tuning my car on the street alone. almost 20hrs, if not more, is alot of time for only $450.... just my .02 cents.

not hard at all.... you know where the OBDII hook up is, underneath the dash on the driver side? it hooks up right there. you can buy the software and then for every credit after that, you pay a certain amount. not hard at all, but not for beginners.... thats when **** goes boom!

they dont have the software yet for it.... soon though. if you have your own tuner they can. a mustang guy brought his up there with a diablo tuner, and brian did the best he could.... only so much youre able to do with those tuners.
