I would say my car was in tip top shape last night.... Mike was definetly running strong as hell.... I could say that I did only have a couple more hits worth of nitrous left, but I dont think that makes too much difference. I would like to know what youre putting down Mike.... I was misinformed I guess....

I can say we both dynoed at different places and each dyno is different. Im guessing an all motor heads n cam car has more power under the curve then a lid and longtube spray car as well. I do know for a fact that his 4.10s over my 3.73s helped him ****** me at the bottom of each gear. His powershifting also helps when Im unable to in my car.... whole drivetrain still has less then 10k miles on it. Our weights were pretty much the same.... No backseats, I had the bottle, but Brain weighs alil more then Jessica so.... As far as I could tell, and I know my car pretty good and Im sure Mike knows his as well, both cars were running their best. Mine just didnt have enough.... yet.

Well I guess once you install the bottle and I get my Heads and Cam, its gonna have to be another grudge match!!!

well, the car blew the same damn fuse again this morning, so i replaced it and its good so far. got a run on the way home against a turbo GT (new bodystyle)...some Chief driving it...i dropped in 2nd shifted to 3rd right away, and i pulled starting in the middle of 3rd and continued once i hit 4th.

only problem is when i dropped 2nd doing about 65...the car dead hooked basically...and the guages went dead for a split second and reset themselves.

when i got home i checked the fuse again to make sure it wasnt blown again, and its good... ill check he grounds on the back of the heads since those are the only ones i took off. i think it might be the battery though, i need to replace the part that screws into the battery terminal since its corroded, and i think it mightve jumped loose when the car jerked from the gear dropping


ehh, guy never came yesterday to look at it...i guess im keeping it

well ben, its true. Darren and I were coming home for an early lunch, as always. And while driving on 64 I noticed a C4 LT1 Vette haulin *** up behind me. So of course I HAD to down shift and wait. I merged over and let him pass me. I got back up to speed with him at about 75 mph. He immediatly noticed I wanted to play and both Darren and I saw his car buck and take off. He got the jump on me but after going into third gear he was on the hook and i ws reeling him in. By the time we got up to around 125-130 I was pullin him hard. Not to shabby for a Mustang with 109000k on it.

yeah, i was thier so i can vouch for mustang sally^^^ the vette was definatly hauling *** to pull away and it was an LT1 car because it had a gay LT1 badge on the back bumper with a bowtie next to it. The guy was pretty cool, i could see he was laughing his *** off when we realed him in and he waved when we merged off.

Well as much as I would like to thank Gyrene2003 for backing me up on this one, I would also like everyone to be informed that him and I will be running each other at the 1/8th track in North Carolina. But not in our cars. He will be in his camaro while I will be on my stock Kawasaki 250 dirt bike. I will post it up when I own him on a dirt bike.

That does sound like something is loose if its doing that..... cutting power somehow or a short or pinched wire.....

^easy hoss, aint **** gone down just yet! I do think its funny u cant do anything in ur crustang but use ur dirt bike instead. As i told u before to, if u take me down at the 1/8th track, its game time at the 1/4 track at MIR on sunday, which leads me to my next question, who is gonna roll with us on sunday up to MIR? We might have a nice little crew goin!

im pretty sure its the battery connection. the negative terminal got corroded somehow (its an optima...everyone says its impossible..but it happened), and i noticed the connector needed to be replace, so i assume it just came loose and thats what messed with the gauges. im pretty confident the grounds on the heads are good, so im going with battery
