well the main reason is im rather new to the hp game. Ive never drivin a car above 500 horsepower much less as a dd. So i figured id start with the cheap easy / less maintenance way and upgrade later when the hp bug comes around

Hey Ben, as you know Darren and I bolted up that ac compressor. And yeah now it is running fine but the ac itself wont work. What do you think that could be? When I go to charge it, everyday it reads that it is empty so I fill it back up but it still wont blow cold air?????????????

Ok, i used some of the money to pay off my credit card (the smart choice). Now i would like to save some atm, so ima dedicate 2k to my car. What you think i should get? Full boltons or Nitro daves halo dry kit + the extras/safety stuff. I dont really think a 90/90 setup is really worth it atm as i wont be getting heads any time soon....or i guess i could go with a cam + boltons >
suggestions fellas?
oh, and who do yall know around there that can do a custom 2.5" exhaust (over axle) for a relitivly good price. PM me. thanks

i would do cam/boltons if you really wanna do something. save the rest for later. you will spend over half of that 2k on the n2o (if you do it right). you can get TSP's package with a TSP Cam, PRC Spring Kit & Pushrods for $689. Get a LS6 intake for $350, headers for $450 and be done until you get back..

99FormulaM6: Your idea on the tsp stuff is a great one considering im partial to the ms4 from them...only thing is...i have no idea how to swap a cam and all that good stuff, but im VERY adiment (spelling) on doing everything myself as i prefer to learn and its way to expensive to get somone else to put it in. If i could find help id go that way...hint hint
The only thing i wonder about...would it be worth getting the ls6 intake? as i plan on doing a 90/90 when i get heads etc...

ls1howto.com and installuniversity.com have great writeups on how to do everything.
i had never done a head swap before, but i just did it in the parking lot of my apartments using regular tools. i just printed up the instructions and used them when i needed to. most things are kinda simple, and easy to figure out what to do.

Buy a used LS6 for $300 then sell it for $300 when you are ready for the 90/90.

the guy down the street from me told me today he is gonna bring his 04 Mach 1 instead of his 79 camaro with the ZZ4 motor in it because it has wheel problems. I looked on the website for MIR and the track opens for T/T at 10am on sunday, i told jonny, the guy down the street and we both agree that we should leave nice and early and grab some breakfast and roll up so we can get thier near the opening of the gates, oh and they close at 6pm. Can u say, ALL DAY!!!!!!!!
