Motorcycles for big guys?

98Z28MASS- I already recommended the Suzuki SV1000S to you but let me give you the info on my bike.
I'm not as big as you, about 6' 215lbs. When I was looking in 2001 I didn't fit well on the big honda at the time, CBR954 I think it was. But I fit OK on the smaller Honda, the CBR600F4i. Long legs here and the 600 had better cut outs in the tank for my knees. I put on a Corbin seat and a taller windscreen and I really love my bike. If you fit on one I recommend it.
wow.. good suggestion.

Anyway 98Z28MASS You don't need to get a bike slammed to the ground. You could get one thats just lowered 2". The lowering links are pretty cheap, and you could probably score a swing arm for $700-800 bucks. Just a suggestion, you seem like a pretty big guy for a 600, they are pretty compact. Either way, they are only as fast as you want them to be, you just have to respect the bike you riding at all times because when you start not to is when they get the best of you. Just be careful on what ever bike you get.

I've put alot of miles on them and came to the conclusion that they are only good for making noise

BTW, the '06-up Harleys have improved big-time from the earlier bikes. Quality and performance are way up over the older models....and then there's that little thing about re-sale value vs. the jap bikes.....

everyone that gets a stretched bike for their FIRST BIKE is.
its very simple.
one of SEVERAL (i know theres several) definitions of a squid is someone who slows waaaaay down, turns, then nails the gas on the straights.
if you learn to ride and get habits from a stretched drag bike... yea, you're going to get squid habits of not being able to turn properly.
so yea.. i stick by what i said.
