then goes like hell...... speed dens. upgrade in progress

with a new clutch that is,
Ok so I never said I did not suck I just keep adding power to compesate for it
This was my FIRST time with slicks and anyone with an M6 knows that there is a certain "finesse" with launching!!
I need to RE-learn what I am doing. With street tires I launched gently, and still LITERALLY spun 3/4 of the track, if I tried to speed shift, the car would blow out sideways. With the slicks I now realize I need to rev higher coming off the line, and I don't need to shift so gently, cause the tires will grab. Also there is a dead spot in my RPM range so when I came off the line I kept falling right into it, so I bogged, then hesitated, and then took off. I tried my last pass for more RPM and not to "dump" so hard, but the LS7 clutch just did not care for that at all!
I didn't build this as a drag car and I think I got to the track twice last year, so ya I need practice. 119.6 MPH should be in the high 400's for HP yes?
Brad, I would appreciate you running my car and giving me some insight, any tips on launching would also be great, I need to get over my fear of blowing **** up.
Don, can you help me with the hesitation? it happens around 3500 RPM If it is the MAF I will dump it! I am trying to research SD, it is just on a list...A very long unending list. I got the MAP sensor for a SC cobalt, and I got the AEM gauge to work on EFIlive. Still hard to learn after work though. I am sure you understand that.
hey, if i drive it i have no garenties im not going to brake it.
i drive hard
Alot of stuff on that car has to be tossed like the EGR,AIR ect. Then the Mass air is probly full of oil or mist. The PCV system is disconnected?
The LS7 clutch won't hold a hard Turbo luanch. Then the grand ending -4.11 gears definitely don't help.Should have the stock 3.42's.
Yes, SD will help also.

ive done alot with 6 speeds over the winter spring so i beat on them, and now owning the vett i get alot more seat time.
it was like ridding a bike, it came right back to me
as for the car, yhea it needs to be gutted of all the crap it doesnt need.
a good clutch and 3:42's or 3:73 for sure
a turbo style cam wouldnt hurt, i think its a 224 cam tho which isnt bad.
