I have that movie on DVD.... it sucked.
Total waste of time.
No beginning.
No end.
No plot.
Not much happens.
I bought it because I read that it was a "must have" for car guys.... but it was boring.

And this is coming from a guy that prefers the better stories and less dependence on special effects of old movies (I sometimes watch old movies on AMC & TCM)

Oh stop, no one held a gun to all of your heads to watch it LOL. Admit it, you loved it...you would gladly skip watching Tranformers again for a shot at watching 6 straight, non stop hours of 'Two Lane Blacktop' any day of the week.

I saw it on Tuesday and loved it! Going again tonight. Did anyone see the trailer codenamed "Cloverfield" before the movie? **Spoiler Alert** It was the one with the teenagers having a party and then there are shots of explosions in N.Y. and loud screeching sounds and then the head of the Statue Of Liberty comes flying down the street. It ended with only "JJ Abrams" production and a release date "1-18-08". No title. It was very cool. According to the Internet hype it might be a monster movie, maybe Godzilla or Voltron. Cloverfield is most likely not the real title.

I liked it the first time I saw it. It has it's moments even though there is virtually no dialogue. I fell asleep the second time

What, when GTO says he won't run for pinks at first?

And one of the best lines ever in a car movie:

Duece coupe: "How 'bout we run for $50.00?"
Driver: "Make it three yards motherfvck3r and we got ourselves an automobeel race!"

movie was so sweet. Saw it last night with my son and buddies. The cars were insane...loved the Camaro and the Mustang police car...the chase was bad ***. The entire movie was good. I give it 5 stars.
