I was definitely impressed with that movie! In a time when alot of "blockbuster" movies end up sucking, it was nice to see that they can still do it right!

and to add...my ford friend was running his mouth left and right about how they should have called it "a GM movie". He was so pissed that ford was the bad guys....SO pissed.

I just told him to go home and jerk it with his tears.

that seems to be the gripe over on the Ford forums too...they are callin it a 2 hour GM commercial pretty much. i dont know what the big deal is....even if they used all Ford cars, i think it would've still kicked ***. did hear anyone complain about "oh...its a huge Honda commercial" when the fast and the furious came out or "Eleanor" in gone in 60 sec. GM guys finally get some screen time and end up getting **** for it.

I just saw it last night. It was awsome and I would see it again. The only bad thing was it just seemed some parts were just thrown toghter. I did wish my car was a Transformer after! I dont understand why the Ford people are mad, there cars are the bad guys, but who dosent like a bad guy (Scarface) One of my favorite car movies is Gone In 60 Seconds but im not hating on that. Even when I see a Elenor I have to do a double take on it. Im sure GM put up some big $$$$ for there cars in it though. Cant wait to see #2 and maybe if Saleen does a version of the new Camaro when can see the Bumble Bee

Some points

The actor that played Sam, Shia Labeouf did a very awesome job. He played the role very good.

Megan Fox, the chick that played Sams girl,Mikaela was banging! Great face and body

Some of the things i didn't like

All the money and showing off their vehicles GM did, they didn't have the new Camaro aka Bumblebee outrun the Saleen police car or have a better chase scene

It was a little hard to tell when the transformers were battling who was who.

Optimus Prime could always defeat Megatron during the entire Transformers run. Megatron could only defeat Optimus if he cheated. I don't believe they made Optimus look so weak.

Jazz died (The Solstice) he was the man back in the day

All in all great Movie! I do have to say as cool as Bumblebee was Barricade the Deception Mustang Saleen Police car was the best character in the movie Also to note megatron hasn't been a gun since the 1986. Every form he has had after that in various Transformers series he was either a Cannon (aka Galvatron) or a T-Rex (Beast Wars) or a tank/plane in all the other series after.

BTW here is a pic of Megan Fox for those that thought she looked good in the film

I agree with everything CJ said especially the part about Barricade being the best new Decepticon. Instead of seeing the corny to serve and protect writing on his rear fender, you see to punish and enslave. In fact, I've already seen these Barricade t-shirts at Hot Topic, but they were all in small sizes.

Just like in the original cartoon series, the Decepticons were the cooler characters. Each and every single one of them, except for the generic Eject (Barricade's sidekick), were absolutely cool. I like Starscream when he was shooting down the other F-22's one by one, the first scene with Blackout landing, transforming, and raping everything on site, and the whole cinematogrophy with Barricade in making him as sinister-looking as he can.

Oh, and Megan Fox? I bought the July 2007 issue of Maxim just to get to know her a little better. She has the greatest face in the world and openly admits that she's always in the mood for sex, tried weed and liked it, and will work at a Costco if she ever lost a role in Hollywood because of her tattoos. She's the ultimate dream girl.

This is an awesome idea that I heard about from someone else:

It might make sense that the first F-22 to shoot at Megatron was actually Starscream.

And did anybody actually watch through the credits to see him flying out to space in his F-22 form? Starscream is the man.

Watched it last night. Loved it. Not only was it a GM commercial (bout time) but it was also an Airforce commercial. I was an AFSOC guy for many years and they actually did pretty good. Worked on the Spooky, never yelled "bring the rain" tho, and hung out with the TACPs. The whole time some guy behind me was saying stuff about them being Rangers which kinda torqued me off but hey whaddya gonna do? Even that kid was pretty funny and made it work.

I hate that....when your over hearing a conversation and whatever is being said is soo far from the truth that you just want to turn around and tell em how much of a tool they are for not knowing what they are saying...

perfect example...people at car shows talkin about ls1's to their friend.. "yeah, thats a 350 cubic inch motor blah blah blah..." errrr...i just feel like yelling.." ITS A 346, not a 350!!!"

I saw it this weekend, ya it was cool that it reminded me of the cartoons, but I think the movie went a little slow, especially in the beginning. Between action parts, there was not much holding my interest. I know I know.....bring on the wall of flames.....

Just watched it for a second time yesterday. The parent scene got even more boring but when it came to the action scenes I was able to pay more attention to everything, rather then trying to figure out WTF just happend. lol
definitely in my top 5 list.
