Default Big Garage Sale (engine, vig converter, ls6 intake, etc)

My 408 engine is about ready to go in the Camaro. I have some stuff I want to sell. None of this stuff will be ready to pick up for 2-3 weeks.

Stock 2001 LS1 long block. Runs great, no oil consumption, good oil pressure, no funny noises. The engine does have quite a few miles on it though. As of right now it's at 145,000 and I still drive it a lot. Anyone who is interested in the engine is welcome to come and hear it run or drive it. No front accesories or intake manifold, no coil packs. I am leaving the following sensors and other parts on it; oil pan & pick up, water pump, crank pulley, valve covers, front and rear covers, knock sensors and harness, water temp sensor, oil pressure sending unit and the cam sensor. The price is $1,000, prefer local pick up. This engine pushed my 3,500lb Camaro to a best of 12.20 @111 in it's current configuration and 12.02 with a different converter and a better DA. Never quite made the stock internal 11 second club, but it's still plenty healthy.

LS6 Intake manifold. Stocker off that motor. Good shape. Comes with the LS6 style cross over tube on the front of the intake. $300 shipped in the 48 states. If purchased with the engine I'll throw in the fuel rails and injectors for free.

Cartek ported throttle body: Good condition, has under 6k miles. Came off a friend of mines GTO when he sold the car. No issues. $75 shipped in the 48 states. No core needed.

Magnaflow Catback. Decent condition. All of the clamps that came with it new included. Tips are still shiny. It does have a dent in the I pipe from the axle housing hitting it but you would not see it unless you are underneath the car. I really don't think that it would impede the flow very much if at all. $250 picked up or $300 shipped in the 48 states.

3,600 Vig lock up converter. Has under 6,000 miles on it. It was first in a friend of mines 04 GTO for about 3,000 miles. I bought it from him when he put the car back to stock and trade it in at the dealer (with 6k total miles). I put it in my car when I bought a new trans and needed a fresh converter to go along with it. It feels pretty tight just driving around but it flashes right to 3,600 when you stomp on it. My best 60' time with my full weight stock motor Camaro was 1.60 just flashing it. Just like the engine, if you want to take a ride in the car before I pull the converter out, that would be fine. No free re-stall on this one since I am not the origional owner. The price is $500 shipped in the 48 states or $475 picked up. I'm selling this because I have another converter that will work better with my 408 engine.

Other stuff I have just laying around...

LS1 Intake manifold from my 99 C5. Good condition. $50 shipped in the 48 states.

Truck coil packs, brackets and plug wires. Off a wrecked 02 GMC with 22k miles. $100 shipped in the 48 states.

Cartek ported LS1 heads. These heads were just gone over by Mike at Cartek. These heads have 2.02 and 1.57 valves. The deck surface was cleaned up, new valve job, new Comp 921 valve spring kit was installed and the heads were thoroughly cleaned and then pressure tested. These are ready to put on a motor. $825 shipped in the 48 states or $800 picked up. I have a lot more than that invested in these.

I'd really prefer local pick up on this stuff. Shipping it is a pain in the dick. I'm going to let this run the the Eastern section for a little bit to give the local folks a shot at this stuff first. I'll be posting this stuff up for sale in the regular parts for sale section in a couple weeks then it's off to eBay. Thanks for looking.

Also, feel free to make an offer if you think any of these asking prices are out of line. Please don't PM me with offers like this one that I just read:

Hey bro I'll give you $150 the the LS6

I am not a crack head, please don't offer crack head prices. Thank you.

I'll try to get pics of some of this stuff tonight. The TB is still on the car, not much you'd be able to tell by a pic of it.
