Got my Cam in, Harris Speed Works rocks!
I just picked up my car from Harris yesterday for the cam/valvetrain swap. I'm extremely pleased with everything and the car runs great! The guys at Harris are awesome and they do a fantastic job, I will definetly give them my future business and I recommend them to everyone.

Bow94z: The exhaust setup is Jet-Hot LT's, ORY, Magnaflow Catback, but in the video the cutout is open. Its the cc503 224/230 .503/.510 112lsa. Its not a big cam but it lopes really good through the magnaflow and especially through the cutout. I remember you from the fall fling last year when you did that sweet burnout, I had the black Formula in my sig at the time.
Chae: Install with tax in the upper $800 range I forget exactly but that included installation of 1.6RR's, Timing Chain, and some other odds and ends on top of the $600 cam/springs/pushrods swap. Didnt have the car tuned because the rear but they dont tune LT1's at Harris.
Here's a vid with the cutout closed:

Something doesn't sound right with the rear problem. I've never heard of a stock stalled a4 chewing up a rear, especially on street tires. Who set up the gears? Sounds like it wasn't set up properly (too loose)

I wont say the business name for his sake but I had them installed by a performance shop in Perkasie, you probaly know which one Im talking about. Im kinda pissed that I spent like $500 for the swap and gears and now I gotta do it again when if I would have known I would have invested the money in a better rear.

Yeah I think I know who you mean. Cut your losses and buy a 12 bolt with a set of 3.73s already in it. It's gonna cost you just as much as you've already spent to fix it and in the end, you still have a time bomb 10 bolt. Either that or buy a good stock 10 bolt with 3.42s out of a 6 speed car and just swap it in complete. You can pick them up for $300. That car would really wake up with a nice converter too.
