You don't need to know his name.....however, he is a well respected person/businessman in the local community, and has owned MANY high performance cars, and does know how to drive them. The car just got away from him. It was an accident. WJ

Nah, a little rubbing compound and some Zaino, most of it'll wax out.

Kidding aside, I feel bad that he was still somewhat badly injured...he is still one lucky **** though.
Hate to see a fellow C6er go down.

Like I said in my first post, IF he was infact doing 100 then he deserves what he gets. There is NO excuse for driving @ speed on a road like that.

Unheated tires, cool pavement from shade of heavy foliage, maybe even a little early morning dew still on the roadway, a nice corner comes up on a country road....60....maybe 65mph. Bang--you're in the woods. That's all it takes w/a fairly light car w/a handful of horsepower and a set of wide tires--even a C6 Corvette. Once you've lost your grip, you're just along for the ride... Most people here know that you don't have to be going even CLOSE to 100 for it to happen....WJ

Not to be too much of a dick but you know me....warren your defending your buddy for driving like a dicksock yet you spew **** out in every street race thread known to man and promote the track. You sound like the biggest hypocrite on the planet right now. Next time theres a street race thread or crash i expect not to hear a peep out of you.

I could give a **** if he crashed or how it happend but dont preach about it anymore since its ok when your friend or respected business man does it. He was ******* flying period, and he could handle it and fucked himself and the car. Get over it.

From the look of the car, I would guess he was going a little over the speed limit. I could be wrong

If the guy was a former cop.... I'd like to believe that he knew how to drive, they send cops thru a training course for high speed persuit.

That being said, I find it hard to believe the guy wasn't travelling as some serious speed, or under the influence of something.

Anyone that wants the guy's name I am sure that it's public record as to who was involved with the accident... a little investigation would easily turn up his name.

I don't care what his name is, I'm sure not many people reading this care that much either. I'm just glad he didn't take out any innocent person when he crashed. Any moron can tell he was going way too fast on that road. Thankfully he was the only one to get hurt.

I will say no bad words about anyone involved in a single vehicle accident, regardless of fault or speed. I feel for him, hope he gets better, best wishes to him for sure.

No biggie, no need to tell me his name as I already found out from my buddies who are on the Shrewsbury PD and Boyston PD, I understand though not posting his name. Also, I wasnt questioning whether he was some jackass who doesnt know how to drive fast cars as ive seen some very experinced drivers lose control of a fast car. Doesnt take much with a high horsepower car to lose it. Glad to hear he is still alive though as when i first saw that crash I figured there was no way anyone would/could survive. Also, I do think being thrown from the car saved his life as he would have been crushed...
