OK, this is my son Mark's friend's C6. The accident happened in Shrewsbury, Ma. on the access road to Cyprian Keyes golf/country club a few weeks back. The guy owns a successful sign/vinyl graphics business in central Ma. He lost the car and hit a tree. No passenger. No seatbelt. He landed almost 12 ft. up in a tree....was thrown from the car completely. No injuries from waist up, but severe leg injuries. He will be getting a pair of titanium knees early next year. The guy is a big rugged person, a ex-police officer, and in very good shape...at least he was....Question being...would he have been better off wearing his seat belt, or not??? Most people that see these pics agree that he's lucky to be alive.... What do you all think? WJ

looks like the road took a dip at that spot, my guess he came over the hill going probably 100 or so and the car got really lite, probably started to drift across the center lane, he tried to corrrect and when the tires touched back down, sent him into the woods.
Lucky to be alive for sure... if he was in the car, I doubt he would have survived. I see a picture of a convertable like that and it reminds me why I'd never own one. I know a solid roof'd car would cave in too, but at least ya have something there to take some of the impact.
Hope the guy gets well soon, and for his sake I hope he can walk again someday

Damn man I live in Shrewsbury like 5 mins from there and my girlfriend lives right on colonial drive, which is the street that runs perpendicular to the road that takes you to Cyprian Keyes. If you dont mind me asking what is his name? That sucks though glad to hear he is alive!
