First time at the track
When my car was bone stock I was running 13.4's at 104 on 2.0+ 60's.
A converter will be the biggest help at the track, more so than any cam.
If you're interested I got my old TCI SSF3500 that I took out this spring with about 8k miles on it. It was fine when I took it out and I ran the times in my sig with it.

I would consider getting Danno's converter, or any converter as long it was contaminated (i.e. blown transmission), If anything a shift kit (trans-go) and a tranny cooler (B&M) should certainly be added even before the stall, this will help in tranny life and quicker shifts.

I can think of a 1/2 dozen other things you can do that will drop the times as well. when your'e ready for the converter, get ahold of eastside and get the car tuned (will need it so the shift points are right) after you've gotten the converter in and the gears swapped if you are gonna do that too... and I am 100% sure that you can get that car to a 12.5 or better before you put a cam in the car.

The bad news (for me anyway) is on the way home, I got a big ticket going down the hill on the highway, it says massachusetts uniform citation, he clocked me at 91mph. Looks like I will need a lawyer and hope I don't have to take driving courses or loose my license. Does anyone know what a citation is? I can't remember if that is a court summons or not, I don't see a price on it so I am assuming it's a court summons, do not pass go, go straight to the prosecuter. This is gonna put my modding plans to a hault until I take care of the ticket because of money and because I can't risk getting another one while this one hasn't been taken care of yet, so no more street racing for me, and I'm even hesitant on going down to the track because it's so far away and I doubt I'd be doing 60-70mph the whole way, but who knows I am getting pretty hooked on going to the track, I just wish it wasn't so far, maybe if I make a big music cd I can cruise down and relax without trying to go over 80mph to get there faster.
But if this ticket doesn't get dropped, I'm sure my insurance will go through the roof.
edit: Wholy **** I found the price...it's not a court summons, says $260, i'll still fight it but since it's not a court summons it'll make it easier. Damn what mph do you have to be at for it to be more than just a ticket?

Pay the ticket and stop speeding in mass, I'm not sure how it works if you fight it, if you fight it and lose CT may be notified, not sure though.
You go to the track so you can speed like it's noone's business... no need to do it on the way there or the way back.

congrats on the first time out- sux about the ticket though
