Philly CHEESE STEAK Run Part 2!
Many of you joined for the last one we had back in the Spring. Well we are planning another one.
We are going to Tony Luke's this time. We've called ahead and they are expecting us which means more parking! Better service!
Sunday, September 2, 2007 - Meet at Columbia Park & Ride at 12pm, leaving at 1pm. It takes about 2ish hours to get to Philadelphia assuming no traffic.
Address for Columbia Park & Ride:
Little Patuxent Pkwy (MD 175) & Snowden River Pkwy, Columbia, MD 21044
Arrival location is Tony Luke's, located at:
26 East Oregon Avenue
Philadelphia, PA. 19148
(215) 551-5725
Costs - $10 in tolls up there, $5 in tolls back, Cheesesteak is around $7 plus costs for drinks. They also have other sandwiches, fries, mozzerella sticks, etc.
If you live in the PA, NJ, DE, etc area and don't want to join the cruise, just meet at Tony Luke's around 3pm.
Website: http://www.tonylukes.com/. Tony Lukes is a white building. There is tons of parking.
Pictures from the first one, at Jim's Steaks: http://www.showmotive.com/gallery/th...s.php?album=36
*Burnouts, loud music, and/or any kind of disruptive behavior in the parking lot will not be tolerated. Tony Luke's is ok with us being there but we don't want the police coming and kicking us all out. Just act civilized.*

Pats is garbage....
When I was a kid back in 1970 it was the best, they used to have corn on the cob and watermelon in the summer time...Now Pats is nothing more than an attraction..
I still go there though,I love their Mush/Prov with
That burger u can get accross the street at the lukes sports bar
Its 48 ounce or 3lbs and if u can eat it then u get it for free.....

LOL it's cool to debate the best cheese steaks. But like last time the issue is parking. But if you're gonna argue the steaks, least tell me if you're comming so I can get a good idea of the numbers to expect.
Tony Luke's has a parking lot that can handle 200 at least. So that's not a problem this time.
