bah, live at home and your broke because you have all the toys. get your own place and your broke because of the massive bills for the plain boring ****.

i'd like to think i have a decent/nice condo and decent/nice toys (nice tv set, pc, motorcycle, sports car). i can go out to eat at nice places, take stupid little trips and do almost whatever i want on a whim. i wouldnt want one extreme or the other, i'd feel like i was missing out on what i didnt have.

doesnt matter anyhow, you'll never make enough because you'll keep uping the ante. **** it, let's get high, get drunk, **** and have a grand time.

I don't smoke but i'm down for everything else lol....i'm actually saving a little here and there but not anywhere as much as I could/should. Did you get a 360 so we can play some halo3 on live Also the whole i'm broke thing is a joke because everyone says i'm broke because I blow it all on that stuff which I dont' because I haven't bought a game in at least 5 months....trust me I want to move out. Dieso your doing something right because you have all that stuff and I live home with no car or motorcycle because I wouldn't be able to swing the bills....keep on doing whatever it is that your doing And this is by no way a jab at you i'm being sincere about it

butta, i got the 360 a very long time ago with the new high def tv and all of that stuff. the only good thing about having your own place is it's quiet and you can bring anyone over. if home is already like that....it's tough to part with 1,800.00 a month.

why smoke when you can chew or sniff!!!!

The nice thing about owning a home is it is a great investment. You can write off the property taxes, write off the interest on the mortgage, and if you buy wisely, it appreciates in value very quickly.

Personally, I like having my own place, being self reliant (well, the wife and I are) and having my own chunk of land that is mine. Not sharing walls with someone else is also something I grew to love. I own a half acre but would love around 2-5 acres in a nice cul-de-sac one day. We bought our first house at the age of 24, sold it three years later for a $145,000 profit, and the current home is already valued at $150,000- $160,000 more than when we bought it four years ago.

If I want to have friends over, I don't feel bad about staying up till 3 in the morning because my parents went to bed. I don't feel bad that my neighbor can hear us inside the house because our neighbors aren't right next to us. I still have toys, but honestly, maybe it's called maturity, but I'd rather spend money on finishing my basement, putting in a pool table, air hockey table, and a bar with three different drinks on tap. For the cost of that, I could have a new Z06, but that Z06 won't appreciate in value, where as finishing the basment will add a nice 50-75K in value to the home. Plus when it's snowing, you can't drive a Z06, but you sure as hell can drink up and play air hockey and pool in a warm and cozy finished basement.
