What a long day, up at 4:30 drive 3 hours have fun for 6 hours use about 1/2 tank of 93 octane, then drive 3 hours back home.
I did conquer my fear of the driving over the damn bridge on 301 with my dually and trailer. Could have they made it any more narrow?

On the way home from meeting him last night i couldnt get the car to bang off the limiter, but like i said, it never really happens on the street. He told me that the gears could be the coulpret because for my car to shift into 3rd from 2nd, i have to be doing a certain mph(cant remeber) AND the car wont shift even when it does reach that mph until it hits 6000 rpms, but with the 3.90s my car reaches the rpm well before it reaches the mph so thier is a delay between mph and rpm where the car bangs on the 2-3 shift. what he did yesterday was set the mph to 0 so thier is no set mph to shift at and then he dropped my rpm shift point from 6000 to 5900 so it would shift alittle sooner! I tell u what, it pays to have freinds like Brian around! I think if i throw the M/Ts back on the car and go from a light, that will be about as close as i get to re-creating the track scenario.
Thats what I said before and no one believed me. GM/HighTech had the same problem with a camaro that a high school shop class was modding. They were using 4.10 gears though. This is an old, old issue but as soon as he started talking about this problem it reminded me of this.

Less than 10 seconds a couple of times. Took a little while to set the car up right with the shocks, tire pressure and launch RPM.
1.481 1.516
6.473 6.422
108.86 109.57
9.934 9.857
144.94 145.96
It's sad that my best ET was the slowest ET of everyone's best, but I wasn't the slowest MPH
I never thought my car would ever 60 with a 1.481
Had to leave the 18's street wheels/tires up front cause the big brakes, no way to put a skinny on there now. But they do help take the speed off rapidly.
Here's a question, has anyone used the scales at MIR? If so how accurate are they?

1.48 60ft is sick!!! That car is trapping hard as ****. I'm sure you will get even more out of it with more seat time. That's faster than MightyMouse ever went with a six-speed. Congrats man You da

Could not have done it without help and good advice from friends like you, RJ, Ford Dr, Twist 2 Go, Jeff (hellva tune on it), JDM, and I few I am sure I am missing. I didn't do it on my own, everyone added something to the pot.
Ford Dr yesterday did all the work and adjustments to get me where I was able to run the time. All I did was grab a few gears while holding the fun pedal down for a 1/2 mile round trip.
Coming out to BPS this evening? If so I have the data log from the 9.8 pass. Interesting to see what is going on while you are driving.

Ive used the scales before at MIR and from what Ive seen they are pretty accurate. My srt weighed in at 3165 w/ and full tank of gas and w/ me in and I weigh 190.... Thats 2975 which they say the Srts weigh 2900. I can remember what it said the Camaro weighed in at, but I remembering it being pretty accurate. A couple of my friends weighed there too and had pretty accurate numbers as well....
