Yeah sucks Force is not going to be there, but its cool it looks like he is going to be just fine.

Since all you guys are gearheads and gurus I figured you can help, I need some help finding a few local shops or person who can help me with a few things. First I need a radiator pressure tested and flushed. Secondly, I need help finding an exhaust leak on the same car. I just bought a 97 tahoe Z71 and I need help changing out the brakes up front, look into getting exhaust done, and an alarm. Thanks in advance.

I am willing to pay if you can help me change the brakes. I haven't screwed with brakes before. I am sure I could, but don't want to guinee out my truck...

 

I work at the hobby shop on the Naval Base and judging by your sig, you are probably in the military... Bring your vehicle by the shop and I can give you a hand with those Tahoe brakes no problem... it'll probably take 1/2 hour from taking the wheels off to you driving out... maybe a hair more if we take our time. the exhaust leaks and stuff we can check out too while its on the lift. The rad pressure test can be done by you if you go to the auto parts store and pick up a cheap tester, I'll help you do the test.... PM me with a time thats good for you and we'll get you taken care of. I work this afternoon till close, tomorrow till close and Saturday open to close. Let me know...

a new demo? why would you want a stock formula as a demo? ill trade it in as it sits if you get them to give me more money...

 

Hey i got a whole stack of $10.00 coupons for the NHRA race.they are good for friday only.

 

Yeah, I am stationed there! The brakes are on the Tahoe. The leak and radiator is on my wife's Corolla. I have to work tomorrow and saturday. I take leave next monday through the week. If you could do it then that would be great. Do you guys have a brake lathe?

Also, since there isn't an Oreilly's this way, what brakes should I go with? All I ever ran were the Wagner ThermoQuiets and prefer them. But I don't think anyone else sales them.

Anytime next week?? during the week I normally only work in the afternoons because I'm still active duty Marine Corps. on the weekends though, I'm there all the time. Let me know which specific day too, I dont work every day during the week either...
Getting everything done in two afternoons wont be a problem at all. The Tahoe one day, and the car the next?? should be no problem I'm there from 5-5:30 until 7 (closing time) on the weekdays.

-its a pretty flexible schedule

 

Stock or not, a formula would still be a good demo.... The heads/cam/full exhaust does nothing for dealer retail value, unless you go to a GMMG dealership.
