Philly area guys What is there to do within walking distance of City Hall in downtown Philadelphia??
I will be in town on a business trip and have a seminar both saturday and sunday from 8:30 to 4:30 .... however, that leaves me with needing something to do on sat. and sun. night .... i'd like to keep it within walking distance of the City Hall area...
Any cool sports bars or anything? (gotta watch football on sunday, but doubt my Steelers will be on)?? Any good places to eat? - its all on the company, so it doesnt matter how expensive... hehe
I'll meet up for a drink too - shoot the wind a little

there is a pretty cool hard rock cafe a few blocks away on 12th & market. not really any sports bars in the area though, unless you head to south philly near the stadiums there is a huge chickies & petes with about a million tvs. if you shoot down market street about 12 blocks, there is old city with a ton of nice bars and great nightlife (around 2nd & market). there are also some other nice bars around 16th-20th & chestnut (the continental with a bar on the rooftop is nice).
take your pic on resturants. Prob 30 good choices within a few blocks. The eagles play @ 8 so theres a good chance the stillers game will be on. Theres def a bar near there that has sunday ticket of not. Maybe someone on here knows a sports bar near city hall. Sat night i'd take a cab to old city IMO.
catch a bus down to 2nd street(Old city)....you can have your choice of sports bars/cocktail bars/fansy restaurants. its not far at all from city hall but its a little far to walk. you can walk it but its about 12-15 blocks from city hall. and on a saturday night, if the weather is nice, lotsa long legs and puppies... 
haha... cool - my hotel is at at the corner of Chestnut and 17th, so that would be a long walk... I'll probably just try to find a cool place to eat and hopefully find somewhere with the game on...
I wish i were bringing my TT T/A... I'd love to come and see soem cars, but its a lot quicker and easier to just fly Southwest... $49 each way ???

Verdad Gallardo Maybe i'll get a cheesesteak while i'm out here.... tonight i just went to the restaurant at my hotel (Club Quarters)... place called Davio's... wow, great filet mignon... I was dissapointed that they didnt have a Prime Rib tho... i prefer prime rib to anything else

if your gonna get a cheese steak i prefer jims steaks on south street over pats and geno's....i prefer pats over genos also..... but best of all is lorenzos pizza on south street also... its less than a block from jims steaks.... depends on your mood and style but a good choice is 1 slice from lorenzos and a jims steak..... but man thats tough to put down some times haha....
