congratts to all on the new bests. Thanks to Slowhawk for the adjustments to get me one better run after another. final run was a 12.01@113.6 Thanks to master mechanic Gary helping me change tires. two red lights in two different classes sucked but oh well. Great day and good to see everyone. My buddy from work finally broke into the 7s in his dragster today on his 67th birthday. ran a 7.998

I had a personal best 10.803 at 137. Finally broke into the 10's with the new setup. Still in the hunt for my goal of 10.5 this year. A good wed track day should do it. When I broke out I betcha the guy I raced is still trying to figure out why I was so happy. Had lots of fun.

brent, how did the suspention work out? better? congrats. and i hear you on the break out thing, i broke out on a 9.0 dial, i was pumped lol
trish, i took the activation delay out of my nitrous, but forgot to turn my 2 step up, so when i let off the trans brake the nitrous hit right away and 2900 rpm with 200 worth of gas and nitrous getting hammered in just doesnt go, and boom!!
i tried to fire it back up, but fouled the plugs. got towed back to my trailer, put new plugs in it, and busted out my 8.9 pass!
oh yea, my o2 for my wide band **** the bed when i was pulling the car on the trailer, but with 118 octain running past it im surprised it lasted this long. lol
other then that i added gas and air to the tires.

Congrats to everyone, especially to noyzee for his 8.99!!!
i had a new best finally, 10.19 at 131 spinning the tires. Going to re-adjust my nitrous set up and go for a 9.99 this weekend!!!
my dad in his '71 nova went a 9.19 at 148 as well, but we still have a lot to do to that car

Yeah, I was glad to get a new PB yesterday, although I REALLY wanted a 12 second timeslip, which should be no problem with my setup. Unfortunately I am still having launching issues caused by a wierd LTFT issue. I bogged hard on the first run to a 2.261 60ft then on to a 13.092 @ 111.78. I tried slipping the clutch a little on the second run of the day and the LS7 setup really didn't like that, clutch stuck to the floor on the 1-2 for a good second and I couldn't get it into 2nd. Went on to a 15.5xxx @ 108. I really need to get my LTFT issues worked out but I cannot figure out what the hell is going on. Might try and make it back out for one more T&T session this year.

I swung by for a few hours. Saw lots of LS1 guys, but didnt see any of my LT1 folks. I stopped and talked to 35th 427SS, nice car man. I had my ole LT1 there, hopefully I can get it setup for some runs on Friday. It was the red Z28 with some lope. Good to see some nice Chevy's, catch you guys next time.
