Default Some new tuning choices

After testing some new tuning idea's for about a year I am now offering a few choices. These tunes have been tested on numerous cars with great results. They do not change in weather-keep the same tune in hot or cold which is good. They also pass Mass. emmisions plug in test.

Street tuning -$300- Full street tuning going off factory sensors.Good for bolt-ons and H/C setups. No dyno

Full basic tune -$450 -includes full street tuning followed by Dyno tuning. This is factory closed loop tuning, good for mild Cams,Nitrous, low boost turbo/blower's

Open loop Speed density-97/98 F-body,Vette's -$550-Custom program I made up to run the Car SD with EFI live on the older computers. Good alternative for big Cams with low vacuum. The cars throttle response is more crisp, less to no surge at all and locks A/F across the rev range. This also delete's the Mass air which can give false readings. Can also be done with 2 bar tuning for FI app's -add $150

Open loop SD-99-04 F-body/Vette's-$600 -This reburns the computer to the newest model year(keeping factory vin#) then I switch it to a custom operating system for more control.Factory 02's and MAF are no longer used.Throttle response is greatly improved, idle is alot smoother and the WOT pull is seamless.Great tune for big Cams that have no vacuum.

Open loop SD ,2 bar (15psi) 99-04 F-body's/Vette's -$650-This is for Superchargers and Turbo's.Same as the reguler OLSD above but brings in the full control of A/F and timing in the boost levels. This makes the car alot more responsive and will adjust itself for different boost levels.Makes FI cars more repeative under boost conditions.

All open loop SD cars need an extra 02 bung in exhaust or I will weld one in for a small fee.(rear 02 spot is good). Also SD tuned cars have a 2 day turnaround due to the time it takes to tune and will probly have 60-200miles put on it to verify the tune is perfect at all levels.

Info on SD tunes- These are precise tunes that require checks/retunes if major parts are changed. It is a set tune and will not self adjust for added parts.

Retunes -If we've already tuned your car the ussual retune is $150.Switch to SD tuning for $250 or $300FI. All retunes after SD are $150.
We also offer these tunes for trucks.

Thanks
Don

Great idea Sir
i know you've put ALOT of R&D into the tuning and i know myself and a few others couldn't be happier with the cars and the driveability that would have been non existant with the older type tunes .
the whole setup you have works awesome

Big thumbs up to the speed density for 98s. my car runs very smooth now. dirveability is like stock with the 228 cam and cnc 243 heads. If only I could keep it off jack stands for more than a couple days at a time.

That's awesome Don.

Do you think there are benefits to be had for (99+) street H/C car's AKA mine, going to the SD tune? I know big cam car's, FI, etc reap huge benefits, but how about the milder guys?

Also with you're SD tuning you don't have to worry about the weather changes at all? I thought that major climate changes really throw off SD tuning?

Thats what I've been testing for a year.My truck is SD too and the wideband is in my face 24/7. Weather does not affect my SD tunes. These tunes really benefit A4 cars the most.Just did another A4 GTO last week that had a bad surge sometimes at idle. It's all gone now, drives like stock.

Never got to thank you for tuning michelles Z28. What a difference a quick tune makes for a auto. The thing downshifts and hammers. Cant wait to get the new rear in it too.

Don, I am looking for to do a retune on my car. Would the speed density make the drivability of my car better than it is already? This would be in the early spring.

The Cam you have in there is known to run alittle crappy at low rpms. SD would clean it up alot.

Have you tried this on any Maggies yet Don? I'm interested in this for the spring. for all the hard work you've put into this!
