NY no front liscense plate

by old car i ran no front plate in ny for 2 years with no issues. All depends if you do something to make the cops want to pull you over. If they remember the car they are going to check it out

My Story I got pulled over two years ago for no other reason then no plate on the front, it was the end of the month though (they gotta meet their quota's) Cop asked where it was and I told him, "Its in the back seat". He replied with "why?" and I simply stated "b/c it looks better without it" and he shook(sp) his head and smiled. It was a NYS Trooper in a unmarked car. Anyways, he gave me a ticket but told me to just mail in the ticket with a reciept of a 2 dollar license plate braket at NAPA(or other auto store) and they'd drop the ticket. So I did, end of story. He was one of the nicer cops I've dealt with over the years. I just thought it was funny that he smiled and knew I was right when I told him my opinion, but hes just doing his job.
