20' deck w/dovetail, i know its a little bigger than you were looking for, but it is nice to have a little extra room for extra tires or whatever.

If it's for the GTO you're gonna want an 18'....

The one Keith has posted would be Sweet!

Here's my GTO on a 18" Aluminum! You can see it's a good fit!

you definately want at least a 18 footer. I have an 18 foot brimar that has worked out great this year, the one that keith has for sale I have used a couple times and it too is a very nice unit. I can't believe it hasn't sold for the $ he's asking too, that is a steal!

If you think you're ever going to be at the point where you're going to need/want an enclosed- I would suggest going for it now. Then you can always have it

lol!

I picked up mine for pretty cheap.. 24' enclosed 2004 model with a little bit of damage, nothing that bothered it structurally..

Next time I make friends with someone, especially someone who likes to work on a GTO, I have to make sure they don't live over 2 hours away. Going down to Tommy's is a big ****ing pain in my ***.

I'm just going to bite the bullet. Barry is always saying he will trailer the first one that breaks but.....

1) The group is ripe with 9-11 second cars. Someone's gonna break.
2) I prefer sitting in the truck's perch for long hauls.
3) The Camaro is pretty much a trailer-only car.
4) Barry is usually the first one to break.

Don't worry, I've got my eye on a Bri-Mar that can easily take the C5z.

I looked at the 16' Bri-Mar and put the car on it. Fit perfectly with the front tires hitting the bumpstop and the rear tires well ahead of the dovetail. I want to stay as small as I realistically can.

It is. Maybe we can make some time to meet so I can jusdge for myself. I have plenty of room in my truck for tires though.

My town sucks. You need a permit for trailer storage.

I have alot of ppty and you really could never see it, but, a big ol' gleaming enclosed might just get someone's attention. A black open woule be all but invisible.

Only problwm with the enclosed, and I ran into this, is the weight of the trailer. an enclosed weigh's anywhere from 3500 to 5000 lbs WITHOUT a car in it. Add a 3000 lb car and now you're talking 7500 to 8000 lbs, which I knwo a 1/2 ton is "rated" to tow, but that's alot of weight to tow with anything less then a 3/4 or 1 ton truck.

That was the only reason I didn't buy an enclosed, I just don't have enopugh truck to tow one.... yet.

Keith's trailer is nice because you can put your car on it and if you wanted to an atv or golf cart too, so you could have a pit veichle with you as well.

My what is gonna haul? I assume my car?

Some ppl could break into the 10s on saturday but they're too concerned about their friday night wedding.

you might wanna come with me when I go to look at the closed deck when it comes in this way we can see if the Z can fit. I looked at the open they had in stock and would prefer to get a closed. They have one coming in sometime before Christmas.

I just dropped my wife's car off at the dealer for a recall notice that we got, and I saw a 2006 1 ton single tire mega cab on the lot, 26K on it. I don't really need the 4x4 that it has, but I'm gonna call the dealer and ask what they want for it, I really want a 2wd silver one, but if the price is right I may have to go for it.

New ones have the new 6.7 diesel in it, the 06 has the 5.9 I'd rather hold out for the new one though.... gotta at least check.
