I just dropped my wife's car off at the dealer for a recall notice that we got, and I saw a 2006 1 ton single tire mega cab on the lot, 26K on it. I don't really need the 4x4 that it has, but I'm gonna call the dealer and ask what they want for it, I really want a 2wd silver one, but if the price is right I may have to go for it.
New ones have the new 6.7 diesel in it, the 06 has the 5.9 I'd rather hold out for the new one though.... gotta at least check.

I like the duramax, and I like the new ford super duty's too... but I've been a dodge truck guy for so long I dunno if I can bring myself to buy anything else.

I decided on the brimar b/c the dovetail is pretty aggressive and can even accomodate, say, an overly lowered C5 Z06 with slicks that can't clear a brick or something like that....

I could load my car on and off with zero rubbing no problem until I put the 28 inch tires on, it pitched the nose down a touch and now it hits a little if I don't use a couple boards at the start of the ramps.
I think I may have a way to solve that problem by changing the height of the ball though, or just crank the front of the trailer up a little when loading the car on and off.
I bought mine this spring, it was a year old and the previous owner used it maybe 4 times, I paid about 800 less then a new one after buying a spare tire, folding front support leg and the taxes/registration... I really can't complain.
